JOSH O'CONNOR
JOINS ANNETTE BENING AND BILL NIGHY IN 'HOPE GAP'
A bunch of casting news today, beginning with Josh O'Connor whom we adored in The Durrells and God's Own Country, and who has now joined Bill
Nighy and Annette Bening in HOPE GAP from Gladiator writer William Nicholson who now also directs.
Josh O'Connor will play the son of the family |
As 'Screen Daily' reports, Josh will play Jamie, the son of married
couple Grace (Annette Bening) and Edward (Bill Nighy). When Jamie comes
to visit for the weekend at their seaside home, Edward informs him that
he plans to leave Grace. HOPE GAPS tracks the unravelling of three
lives, through stages of shock, disbelief, anger and resolution.Beside
the third season of Durrells, which should start soon at ITV, we shall
also watch Josh O'Connor in BBC's Les Miserables mini series as Marius
Pontmercy!
WW2 'WAITING FOR ANYA'
MOVIE CASTS ANJELICA HUSTON AND THOMAS KRETSCHMANN
Thomas Kretschmann will also star |
TONI COLLETTE
TO GET A 'SEA FEVER'
Toni has another horror Hereditary out this summer |
"Waiting for Anya" sounds good. I love Angelica Huston. And I enjoyed Josh O'Connor in "The Durrells" too, playing the obnoxious Larry.
ReplyDeletethe third season will start, methinks, very very soon. You haven't watched God's Own Country? It's gay :) He plays a manly farmer who gets some Romanian hunky asylym seeker as a farmhand and then they fall a bit for each other... stuff from dreams :)
DeleteHope Gap sounds interesting!

glad you think so!
DeleteSea Fever sounds great.
ReplyDeletenot if you have it
DeleteBecause I’m planning out Ireland now, Sea Fever sounds like something I should avoid. No bad thoughts of getting sick need to be filling my head before we leave.
ReplyDeleteyes, a cruise on an Irish boat wouldn't ever be the same after that one.
