SAM CLAFLIN & EMILIA CLARKE FOR 'ME BEFORE YOU' MOVIE ADAPTATION! 'ELEPHANT WHO CRIED' GETS HEARTWRENCHING MOVIE! NICHOLAS SPARKS' 'CHOICE' IS HIS 11TH BOOK TO BE ADAPTED!

'ME BEFORE YOU' CASTS
 SAM CLAFLIN & EMILIA CLARKE
Now, here are some wonderful casting news: as 'Deadline' writes today Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke might be the lead stars of ME BEFORE YOU big screen adaptation of bestselling Jojo Moyes novel. Set to premiere next August, the movie will follow Lou, a young girl from a small town, who meets Will, a successful man who has been confined to a wheelchair after a horrific accident. Lou takes a job as Will's caretaker and they go on a series of adventures during which the young woman tries to convince Will that life is still worth living!

DID YOU KNOW?
While she is playing the dragon queen in brutally bizarre GAME OF THRONES,  Emilia Clarke will also star in new TERMINATOR GENISYS while Sam Claflin is starring in the equally bizarre HUNGER GAMES and in delightful romantic movie LOVE, ROSIE with adorable Lily Collins. He also stars next to Max Irons and Douglas Booth in RIOT CLUB.

NICHOLAS SPARKS' 'THE CHOICE'
 IS HIS 11TH MOVIE ADAPTATION
And the eleventh Nicholas Sparks book to move onto the big screens is THE CHOICE. After his bestselling books such as SAFE HAVEN, THE NOTEBOOK, MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE, A WALK TO REMEMBER, DEAR JOHN, THE LUCKY ONE have been made into movies, THE CHOICE will be adapted too by Ross Katz. The story follows a man and a woman who live as neighbours in a coastal town in North Carolina, before their relationship blossoms into a romance neither of them imagined would happen. Sparks' THE BEST OF ME and THE LONGEST RIDE are currently awaiting release or production.

STORY OF ELEPHANT WHO CRIED
TO BE MADE INTO A MOVIE
Deadline also reports that famous ELEPHANT WHO CRIED will get his own movie! The movie will tell the heart wrenching story of Raju, the animal who had been kept in chains and abused for 50 years and cried when he was freed in the middle of the night by brave animal rights activists. The chains that kept him imprisoned for decades left abscessed wounds in his leg, he was starving and had sores all over its body, while his tail was plucked raw to sell hairs as good luck charms. Last month he was secretly taken to a sanctuary where he is now able to walk free, eat decent food (he had been eating plastic and paper in order to fill up his empty belly while in captivity), receive medical care, lounge in his favourite pool and mix with other elephants — none of which was provided to him during his 50 years of  life in clawed shackles that dug into his skin. The world is awaiting the court decision in India tomorrow on whether he will be returned to his molester who had sued the activists.

  1. I don't know if I could watch the movie about the elephant. It would rip my heart out, even with a happy ending. I really hope that elephant does not get returned to those bastards who abused him for all those years. They should be the ones getting sued! And the punishment should be the same treatment they doled out to that beautiful animal all those years!

    1. just knowing about that story is enough to make you cry for days... I feel sick every time I just think about the whole case... but the world needs such movies ... I've often watched those shows about elephant sanctuaries... and it's always shocking when you meet with the depth of human evilness to which those elephants were faced with....

    2. Elephants I think are wiser than humans and certainly more loving towards each other than we are. How anyone can harm these animals is beyond me. And the men who poach them should have their bollocks cut off.

    3. I will never understand it, dear, never. I know it is done by people who have no conscience... but I just react to the violence against animals more emotionally than to the one against people, because animals cannot defend themselves....

    4. I do think elephants are way more intelligent than given credit for. I just watched a video today of an elephant playing with a ribbon. He was having the grandest of times with it, just like a human child would. It was so beautiful to watch.

  3. Too sad to watch that movie will be. My dad collected elephants. Well not real ones, but ceramic, and glass. He had an Indian elephant that was brightly coloured, it came to my knees.

  6. Nicholas Sparks' 11th movie adaptation and almost every one of them has the same, horrible ending! Someone major dies. Every time. It's so annoying!

  7. I will watch The Elephant Who Cried, even though it will tear my heart out. With the worlds attention on them, the courts in India may do the right thing.

Have you seen the series of documentaries on Echo the Elephant? Four women followed Echo and her herd in the wild for 40 years and documented every minute of it. Echo was a great Matriarch and died when she was 65. It was so hard to watch her pass. When she died, the entire herd cried together. Echo's daughter would not leave her mothers body for weeks. The women are now following the remaining herd, with Echo's sister as the Matriarch. They are doing well and have survived the harshest droughts in history due to the teachings Echo passed on to them.

    1. I haven't, dear, but it sounds like a touching story. Elephants are so tender and emotional and loving, almost as much as dolphins. I did watch a documentary on a woman who sings lullabies to these tortured elephants in a shelter in Asia and they love her more than anything.
