'ZIGGY' MUSICAL FILM
DANE DEHAAN & ROONEY MARA
Do you like movie musicals? One of those will come to us from Baz Luhrmann's protege Diesel Schwarze. Titled ZIGGY it will star Dane DeHaan and Rooney Mara and it will have original contemporary music with the story which centres on a hunchback escape artist (Dane DeHaan) who arrives in New York during the mass culture boom of the late 1920s. As he falls in love with the fiancé (Rooney Mara) of a powerful media mogul, the story charts ZIGGY’s rise to fame and subsequent fall amid a romantic world crashing down on its own impossible idealism.

ReplyDeleteit's a cute film, isn't it?
DeleteThat is a very cool Dracula poster!
ReplyDeletein my whole life I've never seen such gorgeous posters as the three ones released for DRACULA UNTOLD
DeleteOf course it's cool. He doesn't have a body temperature... ;)
DeleteTrue that.. although we do need to check it out invasively....
DeleteDoctor Dezz?
Deletealways on duty with his expert fingers
DeleteI knew it.
Deletehow could you not...
DeleteA wizard named Xanax? Bwahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a freaky, scary poster! I'm scared to watch that movie, though I probably will. :P
I'm guessing he will be highlarious :)
DeleteIsn't it an outstanding poster?
It is outstandingly scary. :P
DeleteAnd I just noticed your Scottish butterflies. :D
ah, yes, we are rooting for great Alba to get their independence this week! :) Gerard Butler for the new king, James McAvoy for the prime Minister :)
DeleteI hope the Referendum goes through. I wonder how long after Thursday it will be before we get the results.
Deleteprobably the same evening, Scotland is a very small country, but currently the poll is fifty fifty.....
DeletePaper Planes looks like a sweet film. Not enough of those about. Particularly like Sam Worthington - in the colour blue :)
ReplyDeleteWe do like Sam! Methinks it is a fanmade poster, because I recognise that pic of him from one of the old photo shoots :)
DeletePlus... Dezz and I both have a paper plane.
Deletewe do?
DeletePaper.
DeleteI absolutely love Dane DeHaan. He's got such a classically beautiful face and those eyes...good lord. He's in my top three which goes like this 1) Reeve Carney (who I think is the most gorgeous man to walk the planet Earth) 2) Chris Evans and 3) Dane DeHaan...
ReplyDeleteagreed on Kiss Evans, never heard of Reeve, must google the bloke....
DeleteOther than The Nightmare Before Christmas, I can't think of any musicals that I enjoy.
ReplyDeleteMOULING ROUGE is my all time fave movie
DeleteCool beans. I've not seen it.
Deleteyou really must
DeletePaper Plans looks delightful!!
ReplyDeletesure does, sure does
DeletePlanes! I mean to type planes, not plans. Sheesh...
ReplyDeleteI myself never know whether it's planes or plaines...
DeleteThat Dracula Untold poster is pretty darn awesome!
ReplyDeleteabsobatelutely!
DeleteNope, I do not like musicals. I have tried to watch them time and time again, only to find I turn them off shortly after starting them. I think that's my issue with Disney lately is they are turning way too sing songy and less storyline driven. Like Frozen. I could have done without half the singing.
ReplyDeleteThe Dracula poster is amazing! It's always a real treat when you share new images from the film!
I couldn't agree more. Wait... I suddenly fe-e-e-e-el like singiiiiiiiiiing in the rain... just singing in the rainnnnn.
DeleteUm..
@Theresa
Deleteyou obviously haven't seen MOULIN ROUGE!
Speaking of new images, later today stunning new ones from THE HOBBIT THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES
@Blue
Deletehope you have shoes that don't leak... like I don't .....
I discovered TWO holes in my shoes. No, that's NOT a joke. Want me to send you dazzling shoes?
Deletehope Mongo didn't cause the holes....
DeleteWell, sometimes I catch him staring at me...
Deletewell, as long as he doesn't eat your shorts....
DeleteOk, Moulin Rouge is an exception. I did like that one. I tried to watch Les Mis a few months back and just couldn't get past the first 10 minutes. I did get through Chicago, but gritted my teeth most of the way through.
DeleteSee... she does like musicals. I knew it.
DeleteCHICAGO was boring as hell, but that is because it was directed by the godawful Rob Marshall.... I have LES MISERABLES downloaded but it's been sitting in the folder for months now....
DeleteLes Miserables made me puke. I hate that movie, really, really hate it. Give me a break. Yes, I watched the entire 10,000 hours because I kept reading it was a piece of art.
DeleteI might not watch it then.... I do have FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS with shirtless TimberMyLake to watch, you know......
DeleteAnother Dracula reboot remake slash no inspiration to come up with something new. Bite me.
ReplyDeleteEat my shorts.... This one will be amazing!
DeleteI've never heard the phrase "Eat my shorts..." I think I may have to steal it.
DeleteI think Bart Simpson invented it....
DeleteIf that movie is amazing... that would be so amazing.
Deletelike totally
DeleteDracula is becoming popular again
ReplyDeletetotally
DeleteAnd just when I thought I could never be tempted by another Dracula flick, this one comes along!
ReplyDeleteI was never tempted before this one :)
DeleteI'm sold on Paper Planes. I had no idea there were contests . It's nice to know that the world can still honour something that doesn't require technology. Those kids in the film are great and I like that old dude at the end. "How many laws have you broken today" "Three" "After this four"
ReplyDeletethere are contests for everything, dahlink. Australian films are usually my favourite. They just have that something special in them...
DeleteI think I would like Paper planes Dezzy!
ReplyDeleteLook soo good:)
xo
it is a great family movie, Gloria Dear!
