EXCLUSIVE POSTER FOR "LEGION" WITH PAUL BETTANY
ComicCon has confirmed us that the sf/fantasy/thriller "Legion" is finally in production. We've mentioned earlier that it will be a story about a group of strangers who get in the middle of a terrible biblical apocalypse when stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere they become humanity's last line of defense against the legion of angels whom God has sent down to wipe out our race after loosing his faith in us. Our newly discovered heroes have to save us with the little help of archangel Michael and a woman who is pregnant with the new messiah.
The amazing cast is lead by Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson....
The premiere is January 2010.

OMG OVOJE NAJBOLJI POSTER IKADA! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat looking poster! Seems like Dennis Quaid is in everything right now, lol. Really looking forward to this one because I enjoy the good vs. evil/light vs. dark storyline. Hopefully they will invest the money necessary in order to make this worth going to see.
ReplyDeleteHeh, Vladek, cim sam video poster odmah sam zamislio tebe na njemu sa onim tvojim arsenalom oruzja sto si nakupio za nedajboze slucaj apokalipse :)))
ReplyDeleteEvo, tebi za ljubav, ispod dodah prosirenu verziju plakata :)
I have to admit that I haven't paid much attention to Quaid, somehow he's just one of those actors that are always there but you never really notice them since they don't leave any trace. But I love Paul Bettany who's a very charismatic actor.
This could be interesting. Although I never understood the need for so much weapons/firepower but so little body armor (or even none at all). It just doesn't feel right.
ReplyDeleteHe's an angel, an archangel :) and he needs no protection, no armors :PPP
ReplyDeleteI like their courage to rearrange the Biblical roles and put the big Boss and his angels as our enemies with archangel Bettany as our only defender :))
The only problematic thing for me is Quaid. Has anyone seen any film he was in that was actually good???
Looking at his body of work I can point to: The Right Stuff (great movie, but can't remember Quaid in it), Dreamscape (I watched it as a kid, don't known how would it seem to me now), Wilder Napalm about pyrokinetic brothers, Innerspace (Fantastic Voyage), American Dreamz, a few decent comedies, and some others I probably didn't see because they are not my favorite genres.
ReplyDeleteHe acted in a number of memorable movies, even if he himself is not that remarkable.
I watched most of the stated movies (except NAPALM which I've never even heard of) and didn't like them.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even like DRAGONHEART even though everybody knows I'm a sucker for "dragonish" movies :) and I've survived watching GEORGE AND THE DRAGON with Purefoy and Swayze (the oddest combination)no matter how horrible that one was as well :))
