After playing his loving wife in Last Man Standing, Nancy Travis will join Tim Allen in his new sitcom SHIFTING GEARS as well. The sitcom which became ABC's most watched premiere of all times with over 17 million viewers two weeks ago, will see Nancy guest star as a spirited widow named Charlotte, who connects with Allen’s character, Matt. This will basically be the first time for us to see Tim have a love interest in any of his sitcoms, since he always had a wife in them but in the new one his wife died from heart attack and he lives alone before his estranged daughter moves in back into the house with her kids. Shifting Gears airs Wednesdays on ABC and streams on Hulu.

CALL ME KAT AT FOX
Is
probably the most anticipated multicamera sitcom this season, the
expectations are high as it is based on popular British comedy Miranda and
it has a number of comedy legends in the cast from Mayim Bialik in the
lead to Swoosie Kurtz and everybody's favourite Leslie Jordan. There

Leslie Jordan is returning to sitcoms after Cool Kids
beautiful Vanessa Lachey and
sinfully handsome Cheyenne Jackson will also star. And as you can see
from the photos, the series will stay true to its title and will have a
cat as a part of the cast as well! The series will start on Sunday
January 3rd and will then move to its weekly spot on Thursday nights
Good news is that Mayim Bialik's Kat will have a pet cat!
which will become the strongest comedy night as Katwill be paired up on
Fox with Tim Allen's Last Man Standing. Should be a ratings heaven for
Fox. In the comedy, Bialik plays a 39-year-old woman called Kat who

life than Kat’s but their shared history has created a bond that can’t
be broken.
LAST MAN STANDING FINALE
Finally getting a good Thursday evening sidekick at Fox in Call Me Kat is America's best watched sitcom LAST MAN STANDING which will also roll its final, ninth season on January 3rd! After breaking tons of records in first seven years, the sitcom had a massive drop in ratings last year with the arrival

of television's most annoying character Jen and a change in scripts which made the show less funny to the point of it being even unwatchable. Hopefully, the final season will bring the sitcom to its old glory. Tim Allen's sitcom will have 194 episodes in total and will have a time jump at the beginning of the final season, as we will meet the characters a few months after the events in

BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA AND NEIGHBOURHOOD RETURN TOMORROW AT CBS
But
if you cannot wait till January for your weekly comedy fix, the good
news is that CBS's most watched sitcoms BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA, with the
second season, and NEIGHBOURHOOD, with the third season, are returning
as of tomorrow evening! The second season of Bob Hearts Abishola

The current TV season is definitely one of the strangest ones, not just because it hasn't had any major hit so far, but also because none of the major comedies or new pilots have started in September being scheduled, almost all

of them, for midseason! Tim Allen's LAST MAN STANDING always started in September, as America's best watched multi camera sitcom for seven years in a row, but this year the eight season will start January 2nd. Which isn't all that bad as it will have a continued run with all 22 episodes unbroken by holiday breaks. To make things more interesting it will air double episodes on Thursday nights all until January 23rd when it will go to an episode per week joined by Fox' new comedy Outmatchedwith Jason Biggs. And to make things even more interesting, Thursday nights will become a night of comedy gold as Tim's sitcom will be joined on Thursdays by Fran Drescher's Indebted (from February) at NBC followed by the final season of Will and Grace! Comedy heaven indeed! In LAST MAN STANDINGTim Allen plays America's favourite conservative family man Mike Baxter who pokes fun with modern

As you can see from the first teaser Mike's and Vanessa's (Nancy Travis) youngest daughter Eve (Kaitlyn Dever) will be present in the eight season as well, with Susan Sullivan (as Vanessa’s mom Bonnie), Tisha Campbell (as Chuck’s wife Carol), Bill Engvall (as Reverend Paul) and Jay Leno (as Outdoor Man mechanic Joe) returning as well. The sitcom now has well over 150 episodes!

'FULLER HOUSE' FINAL SEASON
TO END WITH THREE WEDDINGS?
Meanwhile, Netflix has set December 6th as the starting date for their sitcom FULLER HOUSE's 18 episode final ever run! Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber return as the lead female trio with the story now focused on Stephanie's new baby, DJ's kids all growing up

The season will be split into two eight episode parts
Kimberley will marry Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace) again too! Episode 11 is titled Three Weddings and a Musical so that gives us a major hint. Beth Crosby, Julian Gooberman and Leda Hoepfner will be the new cast members in the final season. Michael Campion (Jackson), Elias Harger (Max), Soni Nicole Bringas (Ramona) all return as the kids in the house.
It was definitely one of the greatest victories in the history of television. Two years ago when ABC decided to kill its best watched comedy LAST MAN STANDING after six years of running (during which the sitcom continuously kept winning Friday night ratings each week and each year, even though it received almost no marketing from the network), for rather obvious political reasons, more than half a million of Last Man's most faithful fans have demanded its return in an online petition, and now the sitcom is returning to the small screens: new network, Fox, same time, Friday evenings, starting September 28th! Although people who never watched it like to unjustly call it conservative, LAST MAN

STANDING is everything but. The most wholesome family show on the television has always put focus on a dialogue between opposing opinions, ages and classes, ending each of its love filled episodes with a message of tolerance and compromise. Message of peace wrapped in decent, always fresh and mature, humour while tackling the current social, political and all other issues. So here's a big hooray for the return of television's most beloved multi camera comedy!

Tim Allen returns as Mike Baxter, a sole man in the house with a wife and three daughters. Beside Allen and Nancy Travis as his wife, most of the old cast returns from Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Jordan Masterson, Jonathan Adams, to Hector Elizondo. There are news that Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison, who played Mandy and Boyd, will not be returning. But I also heard
that Eve, who has gone to air force academy, will be back but only as occasional guest star. Mandy will be
