mum, Sylvia (Joanna Scanlan), Martin wins a scholarship to an elite boarding school, where he first meets Ben. They forge an unbreakable bond, as Ben and
the
Fitzmaurices give Martin the sense of belonging he has always craved.
In turn, Martin remains unflinchingly loyal to Ben through even the
greatest crises. Three decades on, Martin is invited to Ben’s lavish

I love those British thrillers. The cast is excellent, and it looks like one of those series that grabs you from the very first minute. Let's hope it makes its way over here. I've been away all weekend and completely disconnected from the blogosphere. We had a family gathering in Murcia, all nineteen of us together, so it was a wonderful time. That's why I'm only just getting around to reading you now. A big hug.
ReplyDeleteThe Brits seem to have a lot of them this year, The Fortune just finished airing and also Tip Toe and Two Weeks in August.
DeleteOh, hope the gathering was fun and you had great time with all of your offspring LOL Were the weather and food nice? We have had a rainy few days, but I love rain living in generally droughty area.
Sounds like something I would enjoy too, but that trailer ain't too impressive.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very short but dynamic teaser, Brits do not make them long.
DeleteIt does sound interesting, Dezmond. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBe welcome, Linda
DeleteThis trailer drop is such an exciting surprise, and that cast list is absolutely incredible! The dynamic between Luke Evans and Tom Cullen playing long-time friends with dark secrets sounds like the perfect recipe for a gripping, high-stakes thriller. Moving back and forth between a lavish, chaotic party and a tense police investigation always makes for such addictive viewing, especially with a political resignation thrown into the mix. It looks like the perfect drama to look forward to cozying up with when it finally hits screens this autumn!
ReplyDeleteITV dropped it five days ago but made it private so only me and a few other sites noticed it LOL
DeleteParece interesante. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteGracias
DeleteThe strongest friendship is the friendship from childhood.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I do not have any childhood druzya because there were no other ribyonok in the street while I was growing up.
DeleteI adore me some Luke Evans so I hope I am able to find it here at some point. Probably through my library’s streaming since they rent to get most of the British movies and series.
ReplyDeleteI imagine it will be on BritBox as it is from ITV.
