I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I really disliked the book All the Light We Cannot See. That's one show I'll definitely be skipping.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book myself.
DeleteIt was so painful that it took me over 6 months to finish it. If it wasn't for my mental problem that makes me have to see things through to the end, I would have stopped reading after the 3rd chapter.
DeletePainful as in bad book or painful subject?
DeleteI am so glad I didn't read this one then. Every time I went to the library, I'd pick it up from the recommended table and contemplated checking it out, but something always made me put it back in favor of a different read.
DeleteIt has been a massive hit, though.
DeletePainful as dreadfully boring and fantasizing a very serious, painful subject.
DeleteThat does not sound good then.
DeleteHaven't read any of these books...need to update my kindle collection.
ReplyDeleteYou positively must! Schnell!
DeleteThe Hanging Sun intrigues me. I'll have to read the book first, but I'm jotting this one down to remember to watch the film when it's available.
ReplyDeleteNesbo is probably the most popular European writer for years now. Each of his books is a massive bestseller here, haven't read him myself, though.
DeleteHouse of Secrets sounds like it might be entertaining.
ReplyDeleteHopefully so!
