BARBARIANS SEASON TWO
STUNNING CASTING ADDITIONS
Yesterday I showed you first photo from the second season of Netflix' hit epic series BARBARIANS which has just started shooting in Poland, but I wanted to take a minute and show you just how crazy stunning freshly appointed additions to the cast are: our sweet boo Daniel Donskoy, who
stole our heart as Grand Duke of Russia in Victoria and ran away with it, will play Flavus, the brother of Arminius, next to insanely magnetic Murathan Muslu, beautiful Katharina Heyer, and charismatic Alessandro Fella!
Murathan, Donskoy, Fella and Heyer are new cast members! |
BELFAST MOVIE TRAILER
KENNETH BRANAGH'S CHILDHOOD
And here is a rather upbeat trailer for period set drama BELFAST from Kenneth Branagh which follows his own childhood and is out in cinemas
November 12th. Filled with music, the film revisits Kenneth's memories of being 9 years old and growing up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, right in the middle of troubles breaking out between the Protestants and the Catholics that so ravaged the country. Judi Dench and Ciaran Hinds play his grandparents, with Jamie Dornan as his father who is trying to make a living for his family but forced to do that by commuting to England where the opportunities and pay are more available. Little newcomer Jude Hill takes the lead role of a colorful young kid who particularly loves American Westerns and often visits the local movie house. Colin Morgan also stars.
Belfast opens in cinemas this November |
Would definitely love to watch BELFAST! I like Jamie Dornans performance in The Fall with Gillian Anderson.
ReplyDeleteI liked him in Wild Mountain Thyme. But I adore your German star Daniel Donskoy! We've been following his career for years and are ever so proud of him. Hope he gets more English roles. He is so cute in that priest series of yours.
DeleteIch würde ihn ansehen wegen Colin Morgan warte auf Kinoangebot
DeleteWe do always love seeing Colin anywhere.
DeleteI like Judi Dench and Jamie Dornan. Sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that Judi played Kenneth's wife in that Shakespeare film two years ago and now she plays his granny LOL
DeleteSuch heartbreaking times, those were.
ReplyDeleteNot more than these today LOL
DeleteSounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteTotally!
DeleteI love me all things Irish. Too bad it doesn't seem to show much of Ireland's landscapes, at least from when I see from the trailer, but overall, it looks worthy of a watch.
ReplyDeleteThey usually depict Northern Ireland like some squalid, muddy poorland for beggars, kinda like they depict my country as a gypsy one. Politics.... But I do think this one will compete for Oscars big time even though some say it is a Roma rip off being black and white all the time.
DeleteI wish they would stop doing that. I haven't been to Northern Ireland yet, but there are so many beautiful places I have saved on my travel board that I want to see there. Serbia has its charm too, especially from what I've seen of the pics you've shared on Facebook. Yes, politics suck most anywhere you go, but I think almost every country has something lovely to offer.
DeleteHope you visit it then some day! I wouldn't mind having a summer house near the Atlantic ocean where it isn't so hot even during summer.
DeleteMy comment disappeared!! I wrote something along the lines of "I'm all in on this one and not just because of Jamie Dornan."
ReplyDeleteIt happened to me once at your place as well LOL The latest thing that irritates me at Blogger is that I can no longer see little tool gadget at the corner of gadgets here at my page which allow me to access them as blog owner, so now I cannot update anything here on the page, but have to go to dashboard which is very complicated.
