one thing in common: they are all in the fall of their lives and they all feel how ruthless old age can be. Marie is abandoned by her husband on Christmas Eve, and as a consequence, her identity as part of a happy family crumbles. Berling is the eternal “bachelor” who outwardly denies her age and lives the sweet life, but in the backdrop she is affected by a complicated relationship with her daughter. Vanja, on the other hand, lives in the memories of her late husband and has difficulty moving on. The three women travel to Italy together to attend a food course in Puglia, and here they each have an opportunity to redefine themselves. But only when they are able to face reality, will they be able to change. They acknowledge that the most important thing is friendship and that it is never too late to create a new and better future. And by supporting each other, it turns out to be a life that has much more to offer than they ever dreamed of.

    2. Orange stuffed chocolate hearts? That sounds different and delightful! I discovered a new favorite. It's marzipan stuffed chocolate. I don't know what marzipan is, but it tastes amazing.

    3. Yes, the ones I sent to Theresa for Christmas too, you've seen them in her post :) You can buy them on the link she has for that Serbian shop :) I must tag you in that post at her Facebook :) Marzipan is made from flour, almonds and sugar, sometimes honey.

    4. I eat one of those chocolate hearts a day. I’m intermittent fasting right now, cutting down in sweets too, but the chocolate hearts are a little daily indulgence for me.

    5. Who could resist the cinnamon in them? I thought you had such hearts as well over there. Did you try the wholemeal cranberry ones? Or the coconut ones? Those are fancy :)

    9. I have not tried the cranberry or coconut yet, but almost tore into the cranberry the other day. Then I reminded myself that I need not be a pig and need to pace myself with my European snacks since it may still be a bit until I can get to Chicago to find more.

    10. Those two are the best IMHO. Although I forgot what was it that I sent you LOL Did you try the cocoa cream? It has white part as well, my fave :)

    11. Yes, the cocoa cream is so good! I’m about 1/2 through the box of goodies now. Allison has already eaten all of her bananas though. She had a friend over shortly after the box arrived and they indulged in them all. I took a chance and bought some coffee candies that I found at a small grocers here and wanted to cry because they were shit. Nothing like what you sent me.

    12. Will send you tones of coffee candy in about half a year :) Hope we have them still then... Croatia has Kavabon, but these Turkish ones that I sent you are bettah. I bought some candy today as I visited the newly opened Russian discount store on the other side of the city and also used the opportunity to buy me some tea from the smugglers as our flea market is also there. Bought Picwick green tea with cranberry and black with strawberry for summer ice tea.

    3. Then I probably should have watched the trailer with the sound on LMAO! Kind of like I never have my sound on for Facebook or Instagram Stories, so I'm sure I miss a lot of what's going on there too LOL

    5. I just read all of the subtitles. If there aren’t any but the video catches my attention, I’ll volume up. Otherwise, I like to browse and work in silence, Jason is opposite and always needs noise. I suppose it’s to help drown out all the thoughts/noise in his head from his ADHD, depression and anxiety though.
