Comedy day this Wednesday, starting with the news from NBC where they're developing NATURAL HISTORY museum set multicam sitcom from Chris
Chris Hardwick will produce new NBC sitcom

ROSEANNE & BALDWIN AT ABC
Over at ABC (beside the first photo from the return of ROSEANNE which hits small screens next year) they gave a straight to series order to a multicam sitcom which will probably star Alec Baldwin, about a dysfunctional family led by a stuck-in-his-ways, opinionated, fading TV star who moves in with his progressive daughter, her girlfriend and the child they are raising together. And speaking of returns, Joe Lawrence who played the brother in famous 90s comedy BLOSSOM has revealed earlier this week that serious talks are being led on the possible return of the

  1. I didn't know the series "Roseanne" was coming back! Could be fun! I loved the original run.

    1. what do you mean you did not know? I've announced it only about ten times or so :) Similar to Will and Grace return, they're ignoring the final episode and acting like John Goodman's character is alive.

  2. I haven't seen the new Roseanne- but I used to watch it back in the day when it was on the first time. I will have to check it out. Could be funny.

    2. I think the middle one does on like Hallmark or Lifetime doing those sappy love story movies. I don't know about the youngest though.

Joey is definitely still a cutie. I was ever so sad when Melissa and Joey came to an end. I wish they would have continued with the series. They could have gone a few more season showing them as parents to their twins for good entertainment, I think.

    3. I'm sad I've never seen the final season of Melissa and Joey, I must correct that sometime! I think I've only seen maybe first two seasons. I loved Nick Robinson in it

    4. You definitely need to finish it. I swear, it just kept getting better and better. I really loved the banter between those two.

Yes, Nick Robinson was quite the funny guy in there too. We do love those spacey characters, like the brother Gibler on Fuller House too.

    5. I love how Robinson became a major teen movie stars after that, he is now in all possible teen films deservedly, which cannot be said for all them teensy stars. The actress that played his sister in Melissa and Joey now plays the daughter in that shitty Kevin Can Wait, which I hope gets cancelled after what they did to the lead actress. Judging from the bad ratings this season they might. I think CBS will only renew Man with a plan and Superior Donuts from Monday lineup. 9JKL has already been bagged methinks as they did not get a full season order.

    6. I never saw her in anything after Melissa and Joey. I guess that's because I never watched Kevin Can Wait. Since it doesn't get your seal of approval, it ain't going on my list of shows to watch. 9JKL is a really crappy title, don't you think?

    7. both title and the sitcom itself, I wanted to love it sooo badly as you know how much I need my weekly fix on multicam comedy, but not only the lead actor is horrid in the lead role, the humour is really embarrassing and deeply primitive in the vein of saying poop, shit, dick and such things every few minutes. It is beyond horrible. The worst thing is that I don't see any new multicams coming after the New Year either. There is only Living Biblically next March or February but that one looks ultra bad. That is why I'm saving Fuller House season three for a dry period.
