After Red, White and Royal Blue scored massive success, Prime Video has set SITTING IN BARS WITH CAKE movie for September 8th release with Bette Middler and Ron Livingston in the cast.

Inspired by true events, it follows best friends Jane (Yara Shahidi) and Corinne (Odessa A’zion) navigating life in Los Angeles in their twenties. Corinne, the ultimate extrovert, convinces her shy-but-extremely-talented home baker best friend Jane to commit to a year of baking cakes and bringing them to bars, with the goal of meeting people and developing confidence – also known as “cakebarring.” During their year of “cakebarring,” Corinne receives a life-altering diagnosis, and the pair face a challenge unlike anything they’ve experienced before. This isn't only a madcap joyride through some of L.A.’s most colorful watering holes, it'sa moving celebration of friendship, forging identity, and finding joy in the most unexpected places. Rosaline arrives to Hulu October 14th

Hulu has released a trailer for their new period set comedy movie ROSALINE based on Rebecca Serle's bestselling book about Romeo's ex Rosaline. Arriving to Hulu October 14th, it is a fresh and comedic twist on Shakespeare's classic love story "Romeo & Juliet," told from the perspective of Juliet's cousin Rosaline (Kaitlyn Dever), who also happens to be Romeo's recent love interest. Heartbroken when Romeo (Kyle Allen) meets Juliet (Isabela Merced) and begins to pursue her, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy. Karen Maine sat behind the helm of this one.

THE STORY

Four waves (the first took electricity down, the second was massive tsunamis, the third a deadly bird virus,  the fourth - killing of the remaining humans) of increasingly deadly alien attacks have left most of Earth decimated and knocked humankind back to the Stone Age. Against a backdrop of fear and distrust, as one of Earth's last human survivors, Cassie is on the run, desperately trying to save her younger brother. As she prepares for the inevitable and lethal 5th wave, Cassie teams up with a young man, her crush from the high school, who may become her final hope - if she can only trust him.

EPIC TV SERIES SETS SAIL THIS NOVEMBER AT NAT GEO

It is already obvious that this month is going to bring us quite a lot of new historical series to the small screens and Nat Geo isn't an exception since they're finally releasing their ambitious 17th century four hour epic mini series SAINTS &STRANGERS, the  story of the voyage of the Mayflower and the first year of the Pilgrims in America, to TV on Sunday November 22nd in a two night event! With Oscar winning composer Hans Zimmer scoring the main title theme music, the stellar cast is lead by Vincent Kartheiser, Ron Livingston, Barry Sloane, Ray Stevenson, Natascha McElhone, Chris Fisher and Tatanka Means.

SAINTS & STRANGERS STORY
goes beyond the familiar historical account of Thanksgiving and the founding of Plymouth Plantation, revealing the trials and tribulations of the settlers at Plymouth: 102 men, women and children who sailed on a chartered ship for a place they had never seen. Of this group, half are those we think of as “pilgrims,” religious separatists who abandoned their prior lives for a single cause: religious freedom. The other half, the "merchant adventurers," had less spiritual and more material, real-world objectives. This clash of values created complex inner struggles for the group as they sought to establish a new colony, compounded by a complicated relationship with the local Native American tribes. The conflicting allegiances among these groups culminated in trials of assimilation, faith, and compromise, that continued to define the violent nation to this day.
