northern coast of Africa, to a region called Numidia that was (at that
point) just outside the reach of the Roman Empire. He never fully
understood why, and as he grew stronger, so did his resentment even if
his mother’s reasons had been pure. As Gladiator II begins, Mescal’s
Lucius, according to Variety, has a wife and child, and lives a
relatively peaceful life with them until conquerors from his homeland
begin to encroach. He’s taken root in a seacoast town in Numidia. He’s a
blue-eyed, fair-skinned man with red hair, and he couldn’t be more
different from the inhabitants, director Ridley Scott reveals. It’s one
of the last surviving civilizations, as the Romans begin to descend in
North Africa and take it all over. Leading that charge is Pedro Pascal’s
Marcus Acacius, a Roman general said to have trained as a junior
officer under Crowe’s character, although he wasn’t seen in the first
movie. Lucius, once the grandson of the emperor of Rome, finds himself a
prisoner of it. But when he gets to Rome as a prisoner and has a first
round in the arena, he sees his mother—to his shock. He doesn’t know
whether she’s alive or not. And she’s now with the general who he came
face-to-face with on the wall in Numidia. Lucilla doesn’t recognize the
battered creature in the Colosseum as her son, and has no idea about the
bloody history between him and the man she loves.

It also has the honour of being the first ever television series in the Star Wars franchise bringing Jedis to the small screens after they've populated only the big ones for four decades! A Lone Gun Fighter The lead role has been given to Pedro Pascal who plays a lone
gunfighter and bounty hunter with advanced combat skills and
questionable moral character in the outer reaches of the galaxy from the
time after the Empire has fallen in Return of the Jedi, and before the
rise of the First Order in The Force Awakens which means it is a time
when lawless chaos ruled in certain parts of the galaxy. He will be
joined in the series by other characters that you can see in the posters
in today's spotlight: former Rebel Shock Trooper turned mercenary Cara
Dune (Gina Carano),
The series will also have droids and strange new alien creatures in the cast
bounty hunter leader Greef Carga (Carl Weathers) who
hires the Mandalorian to track a valuable asset, lethal bounty hunter
droid IG-11 (voiced by Taika Waititi), and an alien character whose name
is Kuiil (Nick Nolte). Giancarlo Esposito will appear as Moff Gideon, a
former governor under the Empire whose life changed after the Rebels
destroyed the second Death Star.

The story of the film centres on a pampered house dog named Lady
(Tessa Thompson) whose comfortable life slips away from her. Following a
series of tense circumstances, Lady finds herself on the loose in the
street. She manages to befriend a tough stray mutt named Tramp (Justin
Theroux, but the dog itself was actually cast among real strays). A
romance begins to blossom between them. However, their many differences,
along with more drama in Lady's life, could threaten to keep them
apart.
Speaking of Disney classics and dogs, Disney has also revealed the first look of Emma Stone as young Cruella de Vil from CRUELLA live action movie which will depict her youth. It looks offensively terrible. Beside dalmatians, the photo also reveals her costars Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry! That one hits theatres in May 2021!

Director Jon Favreau will produce THE MANDALORIAN science fiction series for Disney + with a plan for it to air next year. Star Wars characters Jango and Boba Fett's were also from the planet of Mandalore but this one, set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, will see Pascal playing a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. As Variety reports, Disney + has also announced work on a prequel series on the “Rogue One” character Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna! The directors for THE MANDALORIAN episodes have already been set and they include actress Bryce Dallas Howard and Thor director Taika Waititi.
