New Lady and the Tramp streams November 12th

of their classic LADY AND THE TRAMP will stream on November 12th and now they've announced the first trailer and poster.

The story of the film centres on a pampered house dog named Lady (Tessa Thompson) whose comfortable life slips away from her. Following a series of tense circumstances, Lady finds herself on the loose in the street. She manages to befriend a tough stray mutt named Tramp (Justin Theroux, but the dog itself was actually cast among real strays). A romance begins to blossom between them. However, their many differences, along with more drama in Lady's life, could threaten to keep them apart.

Speaking of Disney classics and dogs, Disney has also revealed the first look of Emma Stone as young Cruella de Vil from CRUELLA live action movie which will depict her youth. It looks offensively terrible. Beside dalmatians, the photo also reveals her costars Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry! That one hits theatres in May 2021!

Also streaming there on that very same date is festive comedy movie NOELLE in which Anna Kendrick plays Santa's daughter!  The story of the film revolves around the daughter of the real Santa Claus, Noelle, whom she plays. When her father decides to retire, and her brother gets cold feat just before his first Christmas Eve, Noelle must take up the family business. Beside her and Bill Hader as her over pressured brother, legendary Shirley McClaine is also in the cast as Elf Polly, and elf nanny! The movie is directed by Mark Lawrence who also wrote the script for it!

Mandalorian is, however, a citizen of the underworld, a lone gunfighter from the far corner of the galaxy, who operates outside the jurisdiction of the New Republic.Disney has also announced Obi Wan Kenobi series with Ewan McGregor returning to the role. The Jedi Knight series will start shooting next year. Since Disney is always milking the cow until it kills it, they are also preparing a third series which would focus on Diego Luna's Rogue One character Cassian Andor.

Speaking of space, here's another movie to be set in it: as 'Deadline' reports, Toni Collette, Anna Kendrick and Shamier Anderson will star in sf thriller STOWAWAY directed by Joe Penna. Anderson with play an unintended stowaway who, on a mission headed to Mars, accidentally causes severe damage to the spaceship’s life support systems. Facing dwindling resources and a potentially grim outcome, a medical researcher (Anna Kendrick) emerges as the only dissenting voice against the clinical logic of both her commander (Toni Collette) and the ship’s biologist. The film is being currently sold at Cannes.

I've a number of new drama movies to show you today, people, beginning with new World War II drama COME WHAT MAY which arrives to cinemas this September starring Matthew Rhys! 

May 1940. To escape the imminent German invasion, the inhabitants of a small village in northern France flee their homes, like so many millions of their compatriots. Max, a German boy, travels with them. His father, Hans, opposed the Nazi regime and was imprisoned in Arras for having lied about his nationality. Hans is eventually set free and sets off to find his son, accompanied by a Scottish soldier who is trying to get back home.

  'FIVE NIGHTS IN MAINE'

Another drama arriving to us, a bit sooner as it will grace the cinemas around you this August, FIVE NIGHTS IN MAINE boasts a cast lead by Dianne Wiest and David Oyelowo. 

The touching drama sees Oyelowo playing a young African American man, reeling from the tragic loss of his wife, who travels to rural Maine to seek answers from his estranged mother-in-law, played  by Wiest, who is herself confronting guilt and grief over her daughter's death.

Joined by his girlfriend, eight months pregnant with their first child, John is forced to navigate the crazy world he left behind as his dysfunctional family, high school pals, and over-eager ex flood back into his life ahead of his mother's operation.  Sharlto Copley, Anna Kendrick, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Charlie Day, Richard Jenkins and Josh Groban are just some of the well known names and faces that round up the stellar cast around Krasinski.

Here's something potentially interesting over at Lifetime! They've set the cast for TV series adaptation of Aimee Friedman's YA novel SEA CHANGE

It follows Miranda Merchant (Emily Rudd) a teen girl on a journey to reunite with her estranged mother Amelia (Maria Dizzia), who lives on a seemingly idyllic island off the coast of New England. As Miranda settles into island life, she finds herself torn between TJ (Keenan Tracey), heir to one of the oldest Selkie families, and mysterious bad boy Leo (Skyler Maxon) who is part of the working class “townies.” When Miranda learns about the Seawalkers, who, according to local legend, are half human and half sea creature, she begins to believe that they could be real. As she uncovers more about her family’s past, Miranda makes a startling discovery about her own connections to the Seawalkers!

We're all kids friendly today, people, bringing you news from some of new family projects, beginning with the cast photos announcing the stars who will lend their voices to DreamWorks TROLLS animated movie based on the famous collection of world's ugliest dolls. Justin Timberlake has been announced last year in the lead role and will also write songs for the movie joined by Anna Kendrick! She will voice Poppy, the optimistic leader of the TROLLS, while he is her polar opposite, Branch. Together, this unlikely pair of Trolls must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they've ever known. Branch is a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colours! Gwen Stefani will lend her voice to DJ Suki, James Corden to Biggie, Russell Brand to Creek, Icona Pop to The Fashionistas, Ron Funches to Cooper and Kunal Nayyar to Guy Diamond. The movie is scheduled for premiere this November directed by 'Shrek Forever After' duo Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn!

'FULLER HOUSE' SITCOM

Earlier this winter I've shown you the first teaser for Netflix's revival of FULL HOUSE sitcom now titled FULLER HOUSE and now we have the first photos from it hoping a trailer might come soon too? Starting February 26th, it will see  Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber returning to their original roles with guest appearances from John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin and Scott Weinger! FULLER HOUSE will now focus on grown up D.J. Tanner Fuller (Bure) now a recently widowed veterinarian living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas), all move in to help take care of D.J.’s three boys!
