After becoming the biggest breakout star of the third season of The White Lotus series, super dashing Patrick Schwarzenegger has found another new role for himself. He will star in LOVE OF YOUR LIFE in which Margaret Qualley (who like Patrick also has a famous parent, as her mother is Andy McDowell) will play a woman who has lost her husband and goes on a journey to find new meaning in life, with our dear Schwarzenegger appearing in the film as her ex-partner and friend.

According to Variety, M Content and Irish Vico Films will produce together a historical epic series THE PATRICIOS. Created and written by Amaya Muruzábal, this series based on true facts is set in 1846 and follows the Saint Patrick’s Battalion during the U.S.–Mexico War, when a group of Irish immigrants enlisted in the Texas Rangers deserted the U.S. army to join the Mexican side. They fought until their final stand at San Ángel, when they were captured and sentenced to death. Julian de Tavira who helmed Hernan and Like Water for Chocolate will be directing.
Netflix has released a teaser with Eric Bana and Sam Neill as leads in their new mini series UNTAMED which arrives July 17th. Eric Bana
plays Kyle Turner, a special agent for the National Parks Service who
works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The
investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collisioncourse
with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.
Neill will play Paul Souter who has been the chief park ranger in
Yosemite for half his life. He’s a dedicated husband, father,
grandfather, and friend to Turner. He’s comfortable in all facets of his
job, whether it’s dealing with crime inside the park or with the
bureaucracy around it. Rosemarie DeWitt will play Turner's ex wife, with Wilson Bethel as Shane Maguire, a former army ranger, who now uses his skills as the park’s Wildlife Management Officer. Maguire’s a loner, preferring to live by himself in the wilderness where it’s easier to follow his own rules.

in Australia: REVIVAL a supernatural horror noir television series based on the American comic book series of the same name by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton. The eight episode series will also stream on Peacock and Crave.
THE STORY
In
a rural Wisconsin town, the sudden resurrection of the recently
deceased becomes known as "Revival Day". The newly revived maintain
their appearance, memories, and personalities from their previous lives.
While the town's residents grapple with the miraculous event, local
police officer Dana Cypress investigates a murder mystery where
everyone, including both the living and the undead, are suspects.
WHO STARS IN THE SERIES?
Melanie Scrofano plays Dana Cypress who is constantly having to prove her worth to a stubborn sheriff, who just so happens to be her father. And just when she is about to leave her small town for good, the events of Revival Day change that, instead sending her into her most important case to date. Romy Weltman is her sister Martha "Em" Cypress who, having led a very sheltered life due to a recurring illness, is still figuring out her place in the world. A world that, for her in particular, is now turned upside down. David James Elliott is Wayne Cypress the longtime Wausau sheriff who is determined to keep his town and family as normal and safe as possible — a tall order when the dead return to life in the small town he's sworn to protect. Andy McQueen is Ibrahim Ramin is a scientist from the Center for Disease Control who has been stationed in Wausau to study the bizarre phenomenon that brought people back to life.
BBC and PBS are set to do a follow up series to their Miss Austen titled MISS AUSTEN RETURNS based on Gill Hornby's The Elopement novel. Keeley Hawes will probably return as Cassandra, Jane's sister in the true story that happens later on from Miss Austen, around the 1820s, and within a wing of the family that involves Cassandra, as Deadline writes. But the past-tense years that the series will focus on will be ones that were highly creative for Jane when her novels were actually being published. Cassandra is carrying the flame in the present-tense part, and rather than burning letters and looking after Jane’s privacy as in the first series, this will be about an interpretation of Jane’s meaning and value.

With filming on from February over in UK, Prime Video has revealed some of the new cast members for season three of RINGS OF POWER epic TV series. Adam Young, Andrew Richardson, Zubin Varla have joined the cast that also added Jamie Campbell Bower (as a high born knight) and Eddie Marsan (probably Durin's brother)earlier this year. Richardson

Although the first season is yet to air in 2026. PBS Masterpiece is already shooting the second season of THE FORSYTES costume drama based on The Forsyte Saga by John Galsworthy and they have added Richard Rankin to the cast. Over in UK Channel 5 will air the first season of six episodes later this year following the lives of the wealthy Forsyte family in 1880s London. In this next chapter that is now shooting in Britain, the proud dynasty faces a new era of scandal, ambition, and shifting loyalties. Netflix has decided to produce another movie about the famous Hunchback of Notre Dame and has set French superstar Vincent Cassel to lead it. Titled QUASIMODO and directed by Jean-Francois Richet, it will be set in Paris on the eve of the July Revolution (1830), and will try to reimagine the life of the man said to have inspired Victor Hugo’s iconic character, Quasimodo. As the cholera epidemic spreads through the city, he’s caught between political turmoil and an impossible love. The shooting will start this summer.
Channel 5 has turned Parnell Hall's twenty book series The Puzzle Lady Mysteries into MURDER MOST PUZZLING cosy mystery TV series with Downton Abbey's Phyllis Logan as the lead and June 19th start date. The story will begin with a strange murder that shakes
the sleepy market town of Bakerbury. The local police are baffled by a
crossword puzzle left on the body. With their case goingnowhere, they turn reluctantly to Cora Felton [Logan], a recent arrival
in Bakerbury who has a certain level of "fame" as the so-called "Puzzle
Lady", which gives hope to the detectives that she might be able to crack the first ever murder to take place in their quiet hometown. But the eccentric Cora isn’t who she claims to be, and as she throws herself
into a murder case that has the town’s residents baffled, she starts to

MGM Plus has released first trailer for their eight episode series adaptation of Stephen King's THE INSTI- TUTE with Ben Barnes in the lead role which is set to hit the streamer July 13th. When 12-year-old genius Luke Ellis is kidnapped, he awakens at The Institute, a facility full of children who all got there the
same way he did, and who are all possessed of unusual abilities. In a
nearby town, haunted former police officer Tim Jamieson (Barnes) has
come looking to start a new life, but the peace and quiet won’t last, as
his story and Luke’s are destined to collide. Tim Jamieson is a disillusioned ex-cop who takes a job as the night knocker in a small
town, withdrawing from the world until Luke’s plight reignites him and
gives him something to believe in.
Mary Louise Parker will be Ms. Sigsby, the charming but
iron-willed director of the Institute and a true believer in its awful
mission. She’s certain history will come to see her as a hero.
BBC One has released first image from a new six part crime drama THE CAGE set in the world of a Liverpool Casino with Sheridan Smith and Michael Socha in the lead roles. When Leanne (Smith) and Matty (Socha) discover they are both robbing from the safe at the inner- city casino they work in, their
lives are set on a collision course; with each other, the local gangster
they’re stealing from, and the police. The show is created by Tony Schumacher. Barry Sloane, Geraldine James will also star.
Available for streaming on Netflix as of last weekend is six part mystery series THE SURVIVORS their Australian original with Rings of Power star Charlie Wickers in the lead role alongside Johnny Carr, Benedict Hardie and Jessica de Gouw. French filmmaker Luc Besson has released a rather epic trailer for DRACULA: A LOVE TALE an upcoming gothic horror film written and directed by him and based on the 1897 novel Dracula by Bram Stoker. It stars Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz and Matilda De Angelisand should be released in France on 30 July 2025. As Deadline reports today, British broadcaster BBC is set to make an epic period set five episode series out of A PASSAGE TO INDIA famous classic from E.M. Forster. Richie Mehta is writing and directing. Written exactly a hundred years ago and adapted last time back in the 80s, it is set against the backdrop of the British Raj and the Indian independence movement in the 1920s, with the story revolving around four characters: Dr. Aziz, his British friend Mr. Cyril Fielding, Mrs. Moore, and Miss Adela Quested. The series will apparently “reclaim colonial history” and “turn the novel on its head.”

First image of Genden Phuntsok in mountain climbing movie TENZING is out. Currently shooting in Nepal for Apple TV, it revolves around sherpa Tenzing Norgay (Phuntsok) and his summiting of Mount Everest in 1953 alongside New Zealander Edmund Hillary (Tom Hiddleston). Willem Dafoe will paly English expedition leader Colonel John Hunt, while Caitriona Balfe will play Jill Henderson, a friend of Tenzing. Thinley Lhamo rounds out the cast as Dawa, Tenzing’s wife.
