FIRST SEASON TWO TRAILER IS HERE

Although USA has only recently enjoyed the first season, THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR actually aired in UK two years ago and is ready to now return to Channel 4 this July with a new season of the anthology series which will now have a new set of lovers and we have first trailer to prove it. Annabel Scholey, Sam Palladio, Aggy K Adams and Sendhil Ramamurthy will now be the new neighbours. 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT IN SEASON 2?

Brilliant heart surgeon Charlotte Roberts (Annabel Scholey) and her husband, consultant anaesthetist Jacob (Sam Palladio) are a high-flyingbusy married couple. But things soon turn upside down when their mysterious new hospital colleague Mia (Aggy K Adams) rents out the house next door. Working her way into Charlotte and Jacob’s confidence and eventually their bed, Mia also quickly befriends cul-de-sac outcast Alan (the returning HughDennis) whilst Charlotte has to handle the reappearance of past flame Leo (Sendhil Ramamurthy). However, it’s not long before Mia’s past comesback to haunt her, leading Charlotte and Jacob to question who she really is, especially when patients at the hospital mysteriously start dying. But one thing is clear, giving into desires can have deadly consequences…

TV SERIES TRAILER IS HERE

Channel 4 has released first trailer for their new mini TV series THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR which will air soon on the small screens (Starz in USA next year) following Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Pete (Alfred Enoch), who move into an upscale neighborhood but soon find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety. They find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Sam Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw), soon becoming sexually entangled in a way that will change their lives forever. The series will also air on Movistar + in Spain, and all the broadcasters in Scandinavia.

Channel 4 has released first images from their new mini series THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR which arrives to the British channel this Autumn with Sam Heughan in the lead role. The series that will air on Starz in USA and Lionsgate + streamer, is a deliciously dark, psychological drama, exploring the claustrophobia of suburbia and the fallout of chasing your deepest desires. The six part series looks at how we never know what goes on behind closed doors. When Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Pete (Alfred Enoch) move into an upscale neighbourhood, they find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety. But soon find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Sam Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw). As time goes on, these two couples get increasingly close to each other and one fateful night, become sexually entangled in a way that will change their lives forever! We have announced this one years ago when it was revealed that the queen of Denmark will be creating costumes for it (which is funny given that the costumes look horrible and ridiculously ugly in the trailer as if they were done by an amateur), but now we have first trailer from EHRENGARD: THE ART OF SEDUCTION movie from Bille August. Based on a Karen Blixen book the film will star Sidse Babett Knudsen, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Alice Bier Zandén and Emilie Kroyer Koppel, and will launch globally on Netflix September 9th! IN THE FAIRYTALE KINGDOM

of Babenhausen, a young, self-appointed expert on love, Mr. Cazotte (Mikkel Boe Følsgaard), is hired by the scheming Grand Duchess (Sidse Barbett Knudsen) to help her secure an heir. While searching for a suitable future Princess, Mr Cazotte teaches the timid and introverted Crown Prince Lothar(Emil Aron Dorph) the art of seduction and lovemaking. But their plan soon backfires, when an heir is conceived out of wedlock and the royal family has to seek refuge in the castle of Rosenbad. Here, as rivals within the royal family close in on their scheme, Cazotte himself falls in love with Ehrengard (Alice Esther Bier Zandén), the maid of honor, and gradually learns that in fact, he’s no expert on love at all.

Starz and British Channel 4 have set a cast for their six part thriller series THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR giving the leads to Sam Heughan and Eleanor Tomlinson. It follows Tomlinson’s Evie and Pete (Alfred Enoch), who move into an upscale neighborhood and find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety. They find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, traffic cop Danny (Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw), but after Danny and Evie share a passionate night together there is trouble ahead.

Lena Headey will play Fiona

News coming from Netflix is that Lena Headey has been set as lead in Kurt Sutter's new Western series THE ABANDONS set in the 1850s. It follows a group of diverse, outlier families pursuing their Manifest Destiny in 1850s Oregon when a corrupt force of wealth and power, coveting their land, tries to force them out. These abandoned souls, the kind of lost souls living on the fringe of society, unite their tribes to form a family and fight back. In this bloody process, “justice” is stretched beyond the boundaries of the law. THE ABANDONS will explore that fine line between survival and law, the consequences of violence, and the corrosive power of secrets, as this family fights to keep their land. Headey will play Fiona, a strong, devout matriarch who, unable to have her own children, took in four orphans to create her own family. Driven by a higher purpose, and a strong-willed Irish temper, her faith and love for her family trump all. Sutter is also preparing historical horror movie THIS BEAST, about a trapper’s battle with an elusive beast ravaging an 18th-century English village. That one was inspired by real life French village from the 1700s.
