Netflix has added Eric Bana and Sam Neill as leads in  their new mini series UNTAMED. Eric Bana plays Kyle Turner, a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past. Neill will play Paul Souter who has been the chief park ranger in Yosemite for half his life. He’s a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to Turner. He’s comfortable in all facets of his job, whether it’s dealing with crime inside the park or with the bureaucracy around it.

It was one of the most tragic loves and now it is getting a series: Russian mini series NATALIE AND ALEXANDER (Натали и Александр), which will air sometime this year on their national broadcaster, has finished shooting its twelve episodes. In the series that depicts the love between Natalia Goncharova and Alexander Pushkin Ksenia Tragestand and Alexander Zacharin play the title roles. Check out the trailer below.

THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THIS STORY

The series tells the story of the life and death of Alexander Pushkin from the early 1830s to 1837. Then their family life, the first discord and Goncharova’s view on the reasons for the duel with Dantes, which led to the death of the poet, will be shown.

Or to be more precise, it is already here: as of this weekend, June 14th, the second season of popular German historical series HOUSE OF PROMISES (Das Haus der Träume), which already aired over in its homecountry on RTL, is available on PBS Masterpiece channel over on Prime Video for the viewers in Northern America. SBB is streaming it Down Under for the viewers in Australia with the first season also available on that streamer!

 

AFTER THE EVENTS IN THE FIRST SEASON

second season of the series set in the 1920's department store in Berlin, finds Vicky (Naemi Florez) a department manager at the Jonass department store and with a new partner, Wilhelm (Lucas Reiber) who proposes to her. Her daughter’s daddy, Harry (Ludwig Simon), is still floating around in her life, too. Meanwhile, Harry’s father, Arthur Grünberg (Alexander Scheer), the department store’s owner, works on expanding Jonass by opening another store but with the rise of the Nazi party he receives order to fire his Jewish staff, which is why he decides to relocate his family to New York.

After many different versions of series on his grandmother, legendary Catherine the Great, we are finally getting a series on ALEXANDER THE FIRST, the emperor of whole Russia and we have new images from this sprawling historical saga which director Artyom Nasybulin has finished filming over in St. Petersburg. The show is set to premiere sometime this year on Russian streamer Smotrim with linear television premiere on national broadcaster Rossiya 1! The title role is played by Evgeny Romantsov, whom we remember from Goalkeeper of Galaxy sf movie, and he will be accompanied by Anna Banshchikova, Gleb Bochkov, Polina Gukhman, Philip Ershov, Anastasia Krylova, Fyodor Lavrov, Angelina Poplavskaya, Anna Snatkina, Daniil Spivakovsky, Artyom Tkachenko, Vladislav Tsenev, Anna Chipovskaya and Yuri Chursin.

After the death of Catherine, during the reign of Paul, Alexander continued to hope for reforms. However, he is soon overcome by disappointment in Paul both as a father and as a statesman. As a result of the conspiracy, Emperor Paul the First dies, and Alexander, haunted by guilt for the death of his father, is forced to ascend the throne to confront the new intrigues of the aristocrats and his overbearing mother. At the same time, Alexander understands that a threat looms over Russia: war with the invincible Napoleon is inevitable, it’s only a matter of time.

Back in November your trusted spy told you that Paramount Plus had ordered a new UK original drama which they were shooting over at Tenerife and now we have the first images from. the six part STAGS series which follows groom-to-be Stu (Nico Mirallegro) and his friends on his stag do in South America. It should air later this August in UK.

 

WHAT WAS MEANT TO BE

a week of drink, debauchery and fun takes a dark turn. Instead of boarding a flight back to the UK, the stags are sent to a lawless prison island run by two warring siblings. Quickly it becomes clear that the stags need to pick a side to have any chance of survival. Friendships are tested and life-long loyalty is sacrificed as Stu and his mates begin to question who will make it home alive.

Corin Silva and Charlie Cooper will play Stu’s close childhood friends, Ryan and Ant, whilst Sophie Lenglinger and Paul Forman will play his university friends, Clem and Hugo. Asim Chaudhry will also join the cast as Stu’s work mate, Greg.   IN THE TEN EPISODE EPIC SERIES

Anthony Hopkins stars as Emperor Vaspasian during the height of the Roman Empire when the population - bored, restless, and increasingly violent - is kept in line mainly by two things: free food and spectacular entertainment, in the form of chariot racing and gladiator fights. The races at Circus Maximus are controlled by four Patrician-owned corporations, the Blue, Red, White, and Green factions, and shares in the four factions are the most valuable things in Rome.
