FIRST TRAILER IS HERE FOR PERIOD SET FILM

I first mentioned  gorgeous period set drama movie PRISONERS OF PARADISE from director Mitch Jenkins more than four years ago but the film underwent a difficult road after its director died unexpectedly. It is now finally ready to hit the cinemas this August in Europe and US and we have a trailer to prove it. Set in 1925, Mauritius, at a time of social tension, this island

paradise is the backdrop for a coming of age love story. Orphaned, 19 year old, Lucy Gladwell has been sent from England to live under the guardianship of her uncle George. Initially seduced by the sumptuous beauty of her surroundings and the charm of her new family, Lucy sees George as a benign, humorous and loving man who has her best interests at heart. But beneath this veneer of civilisation set in Paradise, lies a dark violent force, that wants to entrap and rule her. Prime Video has finally released a trailer for their movie adaptation of RED, WHITE AND ROYAL BLUE best selling novel from Casey McQuiston. It will cover 1698-1709 - ten years from the life of Peter the Great, during which he laid the foundations of the future Russian Empire. From the return of the great embassies from Europe to the Battle of Poltava. After the signing of a peace treaty with Sweden in 1721, Russia officially became an empire, and Peter became the first Russian emperor. The film, shot last autumn and winter, should premiere December 29th as the most beautiful New Year's present. The film will also include one of the actors from Western Europe as King Charles XII.
