ITV's is ready to launch their new high end espionage series SECRET SERVICE over at the small screens tomorrow evening Monday April 27th with Gemma Arterton and Rafe Spall as leads alongside Mark Stanley, Alex Kingston and below you can also check out the trailer for the new drama. 

 

THE STORY OF THIS FIVE PART DRAMA FOLLOWS

 senior MI6 officer Kate Henderson(Gemma Arterton). On the surface, her life appears ordinary, a civil servant married to Stuart (Rafe Spall) with two teenage children. However, to those who don’t know her well, Kate’s true role is heading the Russia Desk at the Secret Intelligence Service. When her undercover operations reveal alarming evidence that a high-ranking UK politician may be a Russian asset, Kate finds herself in a desperate race to uncover their identity. As a brutal murder thrusts her team into the spotlight, Kate must navigate the dangerous world of espionage while trying to hold her family together and protect her reputation.

Back in December we had first teaser for ITV's new high end espionage series SECRET SERVICE which is coming soon to the small screens with Gemma Arterton and Rafe Spall as leads alongside Mark Stanley, Alex Kingston and now we have a proper long trailer for the 2026 new drama. This five part drama follows senior MI6 officer Kate Henderson (Gemma Arterton). On the surface, her life appears ordinary, a civil servant married to Stuart (Rafe Spall) with two teenage children. However, to those who don’t know her well, Kate’s true role is heading the Russia Desk at the Secret Intelligence Service. When her undercover operations reveal alarming evidence that a high-ranking UK politician may be a Russian asset, Kate finds herself in a desperate race to uncover their identity. ITV and Britbox have released first trailer from their four part TV series THE LADY which describes the rise and fall of former royal dresser Jane Andrews, whose rags to riches fairy tale fell apart when she was convicted of murder. Once a young working-class girl, Jane answered an advertisement in a magazine and to the astonishment of her friends and family, became the Duchess of York’s dresser at Buckingham Palace. Moving amongst the highest social circles in Britain, Jane managed to secure a place in the upper-classes, only to lose her job with the Duchess after nine years of service. Still reeling from her fall from grace, Jane went on to meet charismatic businessman Thomas Cressman and fell deeply in love. Soon cracks began to develop in theromance Jane had pinned all her hopes on, with disastrous consequences.Mia McKenna-Bruce will play the former royal aide and dresser who was convicted of murder, with Natalie Dormer as Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York although, admittedly, she looks nothing like the real Sarah. Ed Speleers is Thomas Cressman, Andrews’ former partner who she was convicted of murdering in 2001. The cast will also have Philip Glenister, Claire Skinner, Laura Aikman, Ophelia Lovibond, Mark Stanley, Daniel Ryan and Sean Teale. The series is out February 22nd.

A trailer has been released for the directorial debut of Kristin Scott Thomas MY MOTHER'S WEDDING in which she also stars next to Sienna Miller, Emily Beecham, Scarlett Johansson and Freida PInto with Joshua McGuire, Mark Stanley, Thibault de Montalembert taking the male roles. 

 Out in cinemas August 8th, this heartfelt comedy movie follows the funny story of three sisters who return to their childhood home for a momentous weekend: the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother, Diana Frost (Scott Thomas). The three daughters are from very different walks of life: Georgina (Emily Beecham) is a hospice nurse; Victoria (Sienna Miller) is a Hollywood star; and Katherine (Scarlett Johansson) is a Captain in the Royal Navy. Over the weekend, the family gathers to celebrate the new marriage, but mother and daughters alike are forced to revisit the past and confront the future, all with help from a colorful group of unexpected wedding guests.

BritBox has released first trailer for their upcoming four part series A CRUEL LOVE: THE RUTH ELLIS STORY with Lucy Boynton as the last woman hanged in UK. Laurie Davidson, Toby Jones, Toby Stephens, Mark Stanley, Joe Armstrong and Arthur Darvill complete the stellar cast of the series set in 1955 in the glamorous and intoxicating world of London club-land. Ellis was the capital’s youngest club manager but her success soon unraveled as she became entwined in a relationship with racing driver David Blakely and then fell into a love triangle. On trial for his murder, she was condemned to hang and she became the last woman to be hanged in Britain. The series will start on BritBox February 17th and should later also air on ITV.
