ITV and Australian Stan have released first trailer from their new TV series THE HACK with David Tennant, Robert Carlyle and Toby Jones in the lead roles of the show which revolves around the demise of Rupert Murdoch's News of the World, as well as the investigation and arrest of over 100 individuals, plus the subsequent Leveson Inquiry. The series is primarily given from the perspectives of investigative journalist Nick Davies (Tennant) – who helped uncover evidence of phone-hacking at the now-defunct tabloid News of the World – and Metropolitan Police detective Dave Cook (Carlyle). Cook was leading inquiries into the 1987 murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan in a pub car park, which remains unsolved to this day and has been a source of controversy and criticism towards the Met. Across a decade-long time frame, from 2002 to 2012, the series will deftly interweave these two investigations. Laurie Davidson, Toby Jones, Toby Stephens, Mark Stanley, Joe Armstrong and Arthur Darvill complete the stellar cast of the series set in 1955 in the glamorous and intoxicating world of London club-land. Ellis was the capital’s youngest club manager but her success soon unraveled as she became entwined in a relationship with racing driver David Blakely and then fell into a love triangle. On trial for his murder, she was condemned to hang and she became the last woman to be hanged in Britain. The series will start on BritBox February 17th and should later also air on ITV. ITV has sent us a trailer for their new mini TV series MR BATES VS THE POST OFFICE based on a true story which should arrive to the small screens January 1st to 4th. The series, which stars Toby Jones, Will Mellor,  Adam James and Alex Jennings, tells the story of how hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters and postmistresses were wrongly accused of theft and false accounting due to a defective IT system. Over the four episodes, the  show will track how many of the wronged postal workers were prosecuted and some were imprisoned, while also dramatising the landmark Court of Appeal decision which saw their criminal convictions overturned, and the continuing fight for justice.

Paramount Plus has officially ordered a ten episode return of classic multicam sitcom FRASIER with Kelsey Grammer as psychiatrist and radio host Frasier Crane. After starting in Boston within Cheers and moving to Seattle in Frasier, he will now move to a new city and will be surrounded by new characters, with original Frasier cast members not appearing as series regulars but making guest appearances. The show won 37 Emmys in 11 seasons.
