Peri Gilpin will guest star as Roz Doyle with Greer Grammer (Kelsey's real life daughter) as Roz's daughter.  Edward Hibbert will also star in the new season. Rachel Bloom will also appear as Phoebe Glazer, the daughter of Bebe Glazer (Harriet Sansom Harris), Frasier Crane’s former agent. Phoebe and Frasier have more in common than Frasier had with her mother, Bebe. Both share a love for opera, and they seem to connect easily. This connection makes Frasier concerned that Phoebe could be his daughter. Amy Sedaris will play Doc Stathos, a therapist who admires Frasier. Patricia Heaton will appear as Holly, a bartender and Frasier’s new love interest. Yvette Nicole Brown will join the cast as Dr. Monica Finch, the sister of Olivia, Frasier’s colleague. We have first images from two new World War Two set movies, starting with DESPERATE JOURNEY which boasts an international cast that includes Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, Clara Rugaard, Fernando Guallar, Hugo Spear, Ed Stoppard, Steven Berkoff, Nathaniel Parker and Til Schweiger. Directed by Annabel Jankel, it is based on the true story of Freddie Knoller (Tønnesen), a young man forced to flee Vienna as Nazi hysteria takes hold. The story is set in a burlesque world of 1940s Paris. Knoller’s captivating story has been widely recognized around the world and he was honored by the late Queen Elizabeth. 

MURDER COMPANY

Posed to enter selected cinemas and VOD from July 5th is war action movie MURDER COMPANY with Kelsey Grammer and William Moseley in the lead roles. Gilles Marini also stars in the movie set

Murder Company arrives this July

in the midst of the D-Day invasion. The story follows a group of U.S. soldiers who are given orders to smuggle a member of the French resistance behind enemy lines in order to assassinate a high-value Nazi target. June, 1944. With the US invasion of Europe hanging in the balance, Allied commanders issued a top-secret directive that would send six men behind enemy lines to assassinate a high-value Nazi target. A mixed unit of soldiers from the 82nd Airborne, comprised of men from Easy, Able and Dog Companies, was joined by a lone member of the French Resistance. Their mission has never been officially acknowledged, and there is no record the unit ever existed. But those who were there gave it a name of its own: Murder Company. The movie is based on actual events!

Paramount Plus has released first trailer for the revival of beloved sitcom FRASIER which returns with new episodes October 12th with a two episode premiere and will then stream the rest weekly. Prior to that, on October 7th, CBS will air a special on the making of the revival, and it will also be available on their YouTube channel and Facebook page. Other channels will not have sitcoms this season due to the strike, so this will be our only comedy series this year.

ORDERS DELTA GOODREM FILM

Netflix Australia has ordered a slate of new projects which includes new Delta Goodrem movie LOVE IS IN THE AIR which will stream September 28th also starring Joshua Sasse as her love interest. Delta plays a seaplane pilot flying in the north Australian tropics who falls in love with the man sent to ruin her business.

 

DESERT KING SERIES

In the series department, Netflix will go Down Under to produce DESERT KING set in the Australian Outback, an epic succession tale which revolves around billionaire miners, traditional owners, cowboys and desert gangsters fighting over the world’s biggest cattle station the size of Wales. It’s a hot, dusty, sexy Outback Western with guns and helicopters. It is directed by Greg McLean and created by Tim Lee and Ben Davies. The story is set in a place where timeless meets modern, and where landscape is life and livelihood, but also mortal danger!

  FRASIER SEQUEL CASTS

After casting Only Fools and Horses' Nicholas Lyndhurst as one of the regulars, FRASIER sequel comedy series at Paramount + has now cast Jack Cutmore Scott as Frasier's son. Kelsey Grammer is back as Frasier who is now off to a different city with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. While Lyndhurst will play a university professor who is an old college friend of Frasier’s, Cutmore will be Frasier’s son Freddy: charming and handsome,  he is a nuanced combination of his father and grandfather. Years ago, Freddy rejected following in his father’s footsteps, dropping out of college to become a fireman, and he’s never looked back until now, when recent troubles have left him with no one to turn to in his life. If they can overcome past differences, Freddy and Frasier might finally have a chance to repair old wounds. Frasier's brother Niles will not be a regular character in the revival.

  RETURN OF FRASIER

Paramount Plus has officially ordered a ten episode return of classic multicam sitcom FRASIER with Kelsey Grammer as psychiatrist and radio host Frasier Crane. After starting in Boston within Cheers and moving to Seattle in Frasier, he will now move to a new city and will be surrounded by new characters, with original Frasier cast members not appearing as series regulars but making guest appearances. The show won 37 Emmys in 11 seasons.

TO LEAD 'PASSAGE' SF SERIES

Well, this is certainly a great casting: as 'Deadline' reports Mark Paul Gosselaar will lead fantasy series pilot THE PASSAGE at Fox based on Justin Cronin's fantasy trilogy. Saniyya Sidney, Genesis Rodriguez, Brianne Howey, BJ Britt and Jennifer Ferrin also star.

Described as an epic, character driven thriller that morphs into a post apocalyptic odyssey THE PASSAGE is told in two timelines. In the present, a 10-year-old Amy Bellafonte (Sidney) seems to have special powers that allow her to communicate with “virals,” terrifying monsters that once were human. Through flashbacks, Amy tells her tale, which is directly tied to the genesis of these creatures. Gosselaar will play an agent who is supposed to escort her from a medical facility but escapes with her realizing she might be the key for saving humanity from a vampire disease!

'THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME'

While he is playing a Scottish highlander manipulated by his overly controlling adulteress wife in Outlander, Sam Heughan will move onto the big screens as well, since he just landed his first leading movie role. He will apparently play a cheating spy in THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME which also stars Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon.

Set for July next year, the movie revolves around two women (played by Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis) who find themselves in the middle of an international conspiracy when one of them discovers that the man who dumped her was actually a spy.
