 Comedy season is beginning late this year, so the first one to open the new season on  September 19th with first two episodes of season 2 is  FRASIER sitcom revival over at Paramount +. It follows Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) in the next chapter of his life after he returns to Boston

to face new challenges, forge new relationships and, with hope, finally fulfill an old dream or two. In the second season Dr. Frasier Crane will return in an episode to Seattle to his radio roots at KACL. Did you watch and like the first season? WHO WILL APPEAR IN THE 2ND SEASON?

Jack Cutmore-Scott returns as Frasier’s son, Freddy, Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor, Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department and fans' favourite Anders Keith as Frasier’s adorable nephew, David. Peri Gilpin will guest star as Roz Doyle with Greer Grammer (Kelsey's real life daughter) as Roz's daughter.  Edward Hibbert will also star in the new season. Rachel Bloom will also appear as Phoebe Glazer, the daughter of Bebe Glazer (Harriet Sansom Harris), Frasier Crane’s former agent. Phoebe and Frasier have more in common than Frasier had with her mother, Bebe. Both share a love for opera, and they seem to connect easily. This connection makes Frasier concerned that Phoebe could be his daughter. Amy Sedaris will play Doc Stathos, a therapist who admires Frasier. Patricia Heaton will appear as Holly, a bartender and Frasier’s new love interest. Yvette Nicole Brown will join the cast as Dr. Monica Finch, the sister of Olivia, Frasier’s colleague. GETS OFFICIAL TRAILER!

Paramount Plus has released first trailer for the revival of beloved sitcom FRASIER which returns with new episodes October 12th with a two episode premiere and will then stream the rest weekly. Prior to that, on October 7th, CBS will air a special on the making of the revival, and it will also be available on their YouTube channel and Facebook page. Other channels will not have sitcoms this season due to the strike, so this will be our only comedy series this year.

 

KELSEY GRAMMER RETURNS

 to portray the titular character who has returned to Boston, where everybody knows your name, as his grown son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) enters college. Frasier is also embarking on a new chapter of his life back in his old stomping grounds with new challenges, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to fulfill finally.

 THE TEN EPISODE SERIES

 also stars Nicholas Lyndhurst as Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor Alan; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve; and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David. Bebe Neuwirth will reprise the role of Lilith, ex-wife of Frasier and mother of Freddy. Perri Gilpin, who played Roz in the original Frasier, is also returning.

ORDERS DELTA GOODREM FILM

Netflix Australia has ordered a slate of new projects which includes new Delta Goodrem movie LOVE IS IN THE AIR which will stream September 28th also starring Joshua Sasse as her love interest. Delta plays a seaplane pilot flying in the north Australian tropics who falls in love with the man sent to ruin her business.

 

DESERT KING SERIES

In the series department, Netflix will go Down Under to produce DESERT KING set in the Australian Outback, an epic succession tale which revolves around billionaire miners, traditional owners, cowboys and desert gangsters fighting over the world’s biggest cattle station the size of Wales. It’s a hot, dusty, sexy Outback Western with guns and helicopters. It is directed by Greg McLean and created by Tim Lee and Ben Davies. The story is set in a place where timeless meets modern, and where landscape is life and livelihood, but also mortal danger!

  FRASIER SEQUEL CASTS  

JACK CUTMORE AS HIS SON

After casting Only Fools and Horses' Nicholas Lyndhurst as one of the regulars, FRASIER sequel comedy series at Paramount + has now cast Jack Cutmore Scott as Frasier's son. Kelsey Grammer is back as Frasier who is now off to a different city with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. While Lyndhurst will play a university professor who is an old college friend of Frasier’s, Cutmore will be Frasier’s son Freddy: charming and handsome,  he is a nuanced combination of his father and grandfather. Years ago, Freddy rejected following in his father’s footsteps, dropping out of college to become a fireman, and he’s never looked back until now, when recent troubles have left him with no one to turn to in his life. If they can overcome past differences, Freddy and Frasier might finally have a chance to repair old wounds. Frasier's brother Niles will not be a regular character in the revival.

Apple TV Plus has released a trailer for their new thriller movie SHARPER with Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, John Lithgow, Justice Smith, and Briana Middleton who star in this psychological thriller which will play in select theaters February 10 and streaming February 17 on Apple TV+! No one is who they seem in SHARPER, a neo-noir thriller of secrets and lies, set amongst New York City's bedrooms, barrooms and boardrooms. Characters compete for riches and power in a high stakes game of ambition, greed, lust and jealousy that will keep audiences guessing until the final moment. In the film Sebastian Stan takes the lead role as a con artist who takes on Manhattan's billionaires. Benjamin Caron directed the movie.
