An apocalyptic trailer has been released for science fiction disaster action movie WORLD BREAKER which will storm into cinemas January 30th with Luke Evans and Milla Jovovich in the lead roles. Five years ago, a tear in the fabric of reality brought creatures to our world from an alternate dimension bent on our destruction. Luke Evans plays a father who hides his daughter on an island to keep her safe, while he prepares her for survival and the battles to come. As Variety reports, Brad Anderson is set to direct new science fiction movie WORLD BREAKER and he has set Welsh star Luke Evans as the lead star with Slavic star Milla Jovovich also staring.

To be shot over in Northern Ireland, the story of the film revolves around a father and his daughter. Five years previously, a tear in the fabric of reality brought creatures to our world from an alternate dimension bent on our destruction. The father hides his daughter on an island to keep her safe, while he prepares her for survival and the battles to come. But no place is safe. Luke also has ahead of him a role in THE WAY TV movie which also stars Tom Cullen, Michael Sheen, Paul Rhys and Aneurin Barnard and follows the Driscolls, an ordinary family caught in between power struggles that forces them to leave the country they call home.

Here's something for all of you Jane Austen fans (not that Dezzy will ever understand you :) - Kate Beckinsale and Stephen Fry will star in the movie adaptation LOVE & FRIENDSHIP of her novella LADY SUSAN which should start shooting this month in Ireland! According to 'Deadline' Whit Stillman is directing the movie set in the 1790s!  LOVE & FRIENDSHIP centres on beautiful widow Lady Susan Vernon (Kate Beckinsale), who has come to the estate of her in-laws to wait out colourful rumours about her dalliances circulating through polite society. Whilst there, she decides to secure a husband for herself and her rather reluctant debutante daughter, Frederica. Xavier Samuel (The Twilight Saga) will star as the object of Lady Susan’s affections, and Stephen Fry as Mr Johnson, long suffering husband to Lady Susan’s friend and confidante Alicia (Chloe Sevigny).
