We have first trailer for a movie coming to Netflix this Christmas GOODBYE JUNE a directorial debut of Kate Winslet who also stars in it next to Toni Collette, Timothy Spall, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough and Helen Mirren. It will be out December 24th
with a short cinema release before that. It’s nearly Christmas when an
unexpected turn in their mother’s health thrusts four adult siblings,
and their exasperating father, into chaos as they
navigate messy family dynamics in the face of potential loss. But their
quick-witted mother, June, orchestrates her decline on her own terms –
with biting humor, blunt honesty, and a lot of love.
After exercising nepotism by starring in a film with her daughter and thus launching her career, Kate Winslet will continue with nepotism and will now direct a film written by her own son. GOODBYE JUNE already has quite a stellar cast and we will see Toni Collette, Helen Mirren, Timothy Spall, Johnny Flynn and Andrea Riseborough staring in Kate's directorial debut over at Netflix. As Screen Daily reports, the film in which she will also star is a contemporary fictional drama about a fractured group of siblings who pull together under sudden and trying circumstances.
And not just them, Bill Nighy's movie adaptation of David Gilbert's novel & SONS has added Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Johnny Flynn, Noah Jupe and George MacKay. Nighy plays Andrew, or A.N. Dyer, as he is known to the world — a famous novelist whose first novel became an instant classic and created a cult following around its elusive author. One morning, Dyer wakes up convinced he must mend the broken relationships in his life and summons his sons (Flynn, Jupe and MacKay) to be with him. It has been nearly 20 years since an incident tore apart the family. When the sons arrive, each burdened with their own struggles, Andrew reveals something so astonishing it couldn’t possibly be true — or could it?

Beatryce, curled in a stall, wracked with fever, coated in dirt and blood, and holding fast to the ear of Answelica the goat. As the monk nurses Beatryce to health, he uncovers her dangerous secret, one that imperils them all, for the king of the land seeks just such a girl, and Brother Edik, who penned the prophecy himself, knows why.
And so it is that a girl with a head full of stories, powerful tales-within-the-tale of queens and kings, mermaids and wolves, ventures into a dark wood in search of the castle of one who wishes her dead. But Beatryce knows that, should she lose her way, those who love her, a wild-eyed monk, a man who had once been king, a boy with a terrible sword, and a goat with a head as hard as stone, will never give up searching for her, and to know this is to know everything.
