ITV has surprised us today with the first trailer for their upcoming new six part thriller TV series THE PARTY which boasts quite a stellar leading duo with Luke Evans and Tom Cullen! Evans plays Martin Gilmour, a journalist shaped by his lifelong friendship with the wealthy and charismatic politician Ben Fitzmaurice (Cullen). Raised alone by his working-class mum, Sylvia (Joanna Scanlan), Martin wins a scholarship to an elite boarding school, where he first meets Ben. Good Grief arrives January 5th onto Netflix

Netflix has released earlier today a trailer for their new drama movie GOOD GRIEF which will stream from January 5th with Dan Levy playing Marc Dreyfus, who struggles to cope with the sudden death of his husband, Oliver (Luke Evans). Forced to face his grief, Dreyfus flies off to Paris with two of his closest friends, Sophie (Ruth Negga) and Thomas (Himesh Patel). As Marc grapples with the death of his husband, he also reckons with the death of his mother, a grief he had kept repressed for a long time. The film which was also directed by Levy will also play in cinemas from December 29th before moving onto the streamer a week later.

As Deadline reports, Sky and AMC have hired Julianne Moore to lead their new eight part historical series MARY & GEORGE about powerful royal family favourites Mary Villiers and her son George. In the series that will begin shooting at the beginning of 2023, she will play Mary Villiers, Countess of Buckingham, who in 17th Century England moulded her beautiful son, George, to seduce King James I and become his all-powerful lover. Through outrageous scheming, the pair rose from humble beginnings to become one of the richest, most titled, and influential mother and sons England had ever seen.

We finally got the first poster for Hugh Jackman's movie drama THE SON from director Florian Zeller and also starring Anthony Hopkins, Vanessa Kirby and Laura Dern. Jackman plays a man called Peter who has his busy life with new partner Beth, played by Kirby, and their baby thrown into disarray when his ex-wife Kate, played by Dern, turns up with their teenage son, Nicholas, played by Zen McGrath. This deeply moving movie will continue making it's journey through movie festivals around the world and will start opening in cinemas around Europe from January, February and March next year. It could be a strong awards season contender.

PBS Masterpiece has issued colourful new images from their new TV series adaptation of Tom Fielding's famous classic novel TOM JONES which arrives next year in United States, but it is most possible that Europe will see it this winter on ITV in UK.

the legendary raunchy novel follows often very scandalous and rather bawdy sexual exploits and merry adventures of the young and good hearted 18th century foundling Tom Jones in a story full of unexpected twists and juicy surprises.

Hulu has unveiled a rather thrilling trailer and first poster for their upcoming new mini series NINE PERFECT STRANGERS based on the book by Liane Moriarty and starring Nicole Kidman, Luke Evans, Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Cannavale, Manny Jacinto and Michael Shannon. Premiering August 1, it takes place at a boutique health and wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10 day retreat is theresort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.
