JINGLE BELL HEIST WITH CONNOR SWINDELLS

hitting Netflix ahead of the Holidays, November 26th is romantic
festive comedy JINGLE BELL HEIST which stars Olivia Holt as Sophia, a
sharp-witted retail worker, alongside Connor Swindells as Nick, a
down-on-his-luck repairman. The two are small-time thieves with their
eyes on the same Christmas Eve score: robbing London’s most notorious
department store. Forced into an uneasy alliance, as secrets surface and
feelings for each other deepen, Sophia and Nick put their relationship
and the heist in jeopardy.
Coming to BBC One Sunday May 25th the comedy series will follow the unlikely crime-solving
partnership between eccentric national treasure John Chapel (Timothy Spall), a retired actor and star of hit fictional detective TV show, and Welsh detective sergeant Janie Mallowan (Gwyneth Keyworth). Thrown together in DEATH VALLEY by the murder of John’s neighbour,
John and Janie are an odd, yet hilarious duo with opposing instincts.
Every week, they get to the bottom of gripping murders, with various
stunning Welsh locations providing a backdrop to their investigations.
When John and Janie are not arguing about a case, they’re inevitably
up in each other’s personal business. Despite their differences, they
soon realise they are the closest thing each other has to a best friend,
and unwittingly help one another move on from the past. The series will also be available for streaming on BritBox.
After exercising nepotism by starring in a film with her daughter and thus launching her career, Kate Winslet will continue with nepotism and will now direct a film written by her own son. GOODBYE JUNE already has quite a stellar cast and we will see Toni Collette, Helen Mirren, Timothy Spall, Johnny Flynn and Andrea Riseborough staring in Kate's directorial debut over at Netflix. As Screen Daily reports, the film in which she will also star is a contemporary fictional drama about a fractured group of siblings who pull together under sudden and trying circumstances.

BBC and PBS Masterpiece have released a trailer for the sequel to their classic costume drama WOLF HALL now titled THE MIRROR AND THE LIGHT which finished shooting back in April and is set to air over in United Kingdom from November 10th as their new Sunday evening series, and over

BBC has decided to give us something new in the middle of the summer and from Monday July 17th they are launching new four part true crime factual drama THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT on BBC One and their iPlayer. It was written by Sarah Phelps who gave us A Very British Scandal. First two episodes air on the 17th and 18th and then the final two next Monday and Tuesday.

He has been absolutely delightful in the Night Court sitcom, and now Kapil Talwalkar has scored a lead in PAPER FLOWERS true story movie drama in which he will be joined by Tom Everett Scott. As Deadline reports it will be an inspirational indie based on the true story of Shalin Shah, a 22-year-old whose battle with cancer gained viral attention in . It follows recent USC graduate and Peace Corps volunteer Shah (Talwalkar) as he receives a terminal cancer diagnosis, embarking on a mission to live his remaining life to the fullest. Shah’s determination lead him, prior to his passing, to write an article for HuffPost titled “Thank You, Cancer,” which has resonated with audiences worldwide through news articles, blogs and viral hashtags. Tom Everett Scott will play his doctor in the film.

The destination turns out to be Iceland and the flight ends up being a complete nightmare. As their intended flight is repeatedly delayed, the airline invites the group to wait out the impending storm in a remote luxury ‘wellness’ hotel somewhere in the bleak, wild moonscape of the Reykjanes peninsula.
