Band of Brothers and The Pacific mini series (which won 15 Emmys in total) are getting a new follow up series over at
Apple and they've set the leads for it:
Callum Turner and
Austin Butler will lead
MASTERS OF THE AIR a small screen adaptation of the book by
Donald L. Miller, which follows the true, deeply personal story of the American bomber pilots in World

Austin Butler and Callum Turner will play the lead roles

War II who brought the war to Hitler’s doorstep.
Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are producing.
Austin Butler will portray Major Gale Cleven, while
Callum Turner will be Major John Egan. The ten episode saga will have $200 million budget.

Ljubomir Bulajic plays the lead role

follow the life of Aleksandar Karadjordjevic (played by
Ljubomir Bulajic), the prince of Serbia who later became Aleksandar the Unifier after unifying Serbs, Croats and Slovenians in the kingdom of Yugoslavia. As a crown prince of Serbia he had commanding roles in the Balkan Wars in which Serbia fought against the Ottomans and the Bulgarians and won, and then he took part in the bloody battles of World War I. He was also supposed to marry one of the Russian princesses, a daughter of Emperor Nicholas II before the Romanov family got killed. During the war in which every fifth Serb died, he was a regent with his aged father King Peter I on the throne. In 1921. he became the king of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians which will later become known as Yugoslavia. He fought for the unity of the state, believing that federalism would ruin it as it

did in later history. He was simple, enigmatic, accessible and in 1922 he married Princess Maria of Romania (played by
Tamara Aleksic), who was a daughter of Ferdinand I of Romania. All of the royal families of Europe

The series features more than 130 actors and begins with the king entering the liberated Belgrade after World War One
|
attended the wedding. Part of his fight was also the defence of the country against the two neighbours - Fascist Italy and Hungary. Mussolini considered him his archrival especially after Aleksandar became an ally with France. He

Queen Milena and king Nikola of Montenegro also appear in the story

was assassinated in 1934, in France by a pro Bulgarian gunman. It was one of the first assassinations captured on film as the shooting occurred in front of the newsreel cameraman.
