WATER EVERYWHERE: 'ADRIFT' SURVIVAL MOVIE POSTER IS HERE WITH SAM CLAFLIN, SHAILENE WOODLEY! KASSANDRA MONTAG'S APOCALYPTIC NOVEL 'AFTER THE FLOOD' SELLS MOVIE RIGHTS

Tons of water, that is our topic today, starting with Kassandra Montag's novel AFTER THE FLOOD which is to be released next year but it has already been sold for a movie adaptation to Chernin Entertain- ment! The story is set in a post apocalyptic 2130. The Earth has been flooded, leaving an archipelago of mountaintops surrounded by water. Myra and her young daughter join a large ship searching for safe haven. Her oldest daughter, Row, was kidnapped during the flood. When Myra convinces the crew to head north in an effort to rescue Row, the decision changes everyone’s fate.

First poste has, meanwhile, been released for Sam Claflin and Shailene Woodley movie ADRIFT based on the true story of two avid sailors who set out on a journey across the ocean in 1983. Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp didn't anticipate they would be sailing directly into one of the most catastrophic hurricanes in recorded history. In the aftermath of the storm, Tami awakens to find Richard badly injured and their boat in ruins, and must find the strength and determination to save herself and the only man she has ever loved. The movie hits cinemas around the world this June and July!

Both great and sad news people coming from George Blagden's King Louis XIV royal court: French epic TV saga VERSAILLES returns to Canal + March 27th with the third season (it will air in USA on Ovation October 3rd)
The third season will sadly be the final one as well
but as Alexander Vlahos, who plays his brother Duke of Orleans, has confirmed today - it will also be the final season! You can check out the magnificent first poster today and stay tuned for the first trailer!

Award winning director Mira Nair has been hired by BBC to helm the eight part TV series adaptation of period set novel A SUITABLE BOY by Vikram
The mini series will be shot in eight episodes

Later this year, you will also watch lovely Sam Claflin in period set darma THE NIGHTINGALE set in 1825 Tasmania. A young convict woman seeking revenge for the murder of her family, takes an Aboriginal male outcast with her through the interior and gets much more than she bargained for.
