DRUMMER BOY TRAILER
FOR NEW EPIC HISTORICAL MUSICAL
Angel Studios have released brand new trailer for their historical musical epic movie DRUMMER BOY which took eight years in the
making and should hit cinemas November 6th! With Iain Glen in the cast and directed by Ben Smallbone and Joel David Smallbone, the story of the brand new historical film revolves around two brothers who are driven onto opposite sides of the American Revolutionary War, and as love, loyalty, and family are caught in the crossfire, their fight for freedom becomes a deeply personal battle for forgiveness. Four time Grammy winning Christian pop group For King and Country is behind the film. Check out the brand new trailer below and tell us what you think. Will you watch the movie when it comes out?

This one really does appeal to me. A historical musical about the American Revolution is not something we see every day, and Iain Glen is another very good reason to keep an eye on it. After eight years in the making, it deserves a proper release; let us hope it reaches Spain before the drummer boy grows a beard.
ReplyDeleteA very warm hug, with a little drumroll.
It is very unusual because I cannot remember if we have had Christian historical musicals before..
DeleteSpeaking of historical things, I have just finished reading Barcelona set Ildefonso Falcones new book In Love and in War, the third part of his Cathedral del Mar saga.
Eight years in the making is about as long as the war itself lasted, so that’s real dedication. Two brothers on opposite sides in a musical is a bold mix, I’m curious how the songs handle that.

It will be probably epic to listen to and emotional especially for the American patriots.
DeleteLain Glen now looks really old. Not sure about the film, but trailer does look pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI think he looks quite good for a 65 years old hunk. I was more surprised by Ioan Grufffudd at the beginning of the trailer, haven't seen him in years.
DeleteAmore e guerra, si intrecciano in questa nuova serie epica, che otterrà interesse da parte degli spettatori.
ReplyDeleteBuona settimana
