WHO THE HELL IS HAMISH?
NEW TV SERIES WITH DOMINIC COOPER
As TV Tonight reports, shooting has wrapped on new eight part series WHO THE HELL IS HAMISH? which will air later this year on Paramount +. The series is inspired by an industrious fraudster, and the group of victims who eventually decided they had had enough of him. The charming and cultured Hamish (Dominic Cooper) sets his sights on Bec
(Claire van der Boom), a recently divorced single mother with three sons and access to a significant family trust. When Bec notices gaps in his story and some odd behaviour, what starts as private unease widens into something far larger: a pattern of deception spanning continents and suspected of leaving more than $70 million in its wake. Our dearest Joel Jackson also stars next to Simone Kessell.

All those names are new to me...a charming young guy falls for a mother with 3 sons..yeah, right.
ReplyDeleteIt does say in the post that he is a fraudster and she is rich.
DeleteParece que vai ser uma boa série pra assistir, Dezmond feliz quinta-feira abraços.
ReplyDeleteFeliz the end of the week to you as well
DeleteIt's like those people who prey on a spouse who recently lost their love to get the inheritance. My grandpa fell victim to a black widow beyatch who swooped in and married him in his grief, then kept the family heirlooms when he died a year later. Thankfully her son had some decency and was able to return some of our things back to us without her noticing they were gone.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, I did not know about those, but why would anyone even marry so soon after their spouses death?
DeleteDepression and loneliness I would assume. My grandparents were married for 50 years and he was married again less than a year after her death. My uncle was married to my aunt for 35 years and when she passed a few years back, he fell prey to those scam girlfriends from Pakistan and lost so much money before the family was able to get power over his finances. I think sometimes people just lose all sense when their life partner leaves this earth.
DeleteThat smells to me like a wish to find a new maid to take care of him. When my paternal grandmother died, grandfather kept repeating to everyone who would listen to him at the funeral that now he will go to a geriatrics home. Not about her, not about how sad he will be about her, but about himself. And he did not even have pension high enough for a home. He died a week after not from sadness, but from the simple fact that he did not know what will happen to him. My mother and aunt spent that week taking lunch to him even though we all live not so close to him. Grandmother was his maid and he did not know how to do anything around the house and had never even bought her a washing machine or a vacuum cleaner to ease her toiling. But she was also a cold lady prone to gossiping, so I guess they deserved each other.
DeleteSome people just never grow out of needing a mommy figure to take care of them and that's their downfall.
DeleteThe same with old women, they always need someone to indulge them and expect them from strangers as well in the public. I cannot stand old ladies in shops, they are spoilt and annoying.
DeleteI agree. I had an old lady get mad at me just last week because I was the only one in our booth and was busy and couldn't attend to her right away. She made a snarky comment so I snapped back and put her in her place saying "my husband is usually here to help, but he just had to assist his father, who happens to be in a wheelchair, to his car, so I think that was a little more important than than your needs right now." She quietly paid and quickly left after that lol.
DeleteBet she turned you into a villain when retelling the story to her croonies. They are indulged by their husbands and family all life long and then become unbearable when old, because they are egocentric and spoilt. I often miss my bus because some old spoilt self/centred old brat like that thinks we should all wait for her at the cash register. Your stalling and drama ruins my day because I then have to walk home on foot for half an hour with full bags under 45C.
DeleteParece interesante. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteGracias.
DeleteHappy weekend, dear DEZMOND!
ReplyDeleteTo you as well, it is finally a bit fresher here, and under fresher I mean closer to 35 than 40C lol
