A SEQUEL TO GERMAN EPIC TV SAGA
I have no idea how I wasn't informed about this, I even find it scandalous, but it seems that one of our favourite of Netflix historical dramas OKTOBERFEST: BLOOD AND BEER which streamed on
the streamer back in 2020, actually got a sequel or a second season OKTOBER FEST 1905 recently but done only by German network ARD without the assistance of Netflix. It aired last Autumn in Germany and I hope we will manage to find it somewhere to watch it as I really liked the first season. Our lovely Klaus Steinbacher returns as Roman Hoflinger alongside Misel Maticevic and Martina Gedeck. The story of the series, which followed the rise of rival beer producers and their war which turned Oktoberfest beer festival into a bloody battlefield, returns five years later, and the brewery clan conflicts still persist. Curt's ambitious plans create
