THE SOULMATE
TO BE TURNED INTO A TV SERIES
Nine Perfect Strangers producers are creating a TV series our of Sally Hepworth's THE SOULMATE book. It follows Pippa and Gabe who
have the kind of marriage that everyone envies, as well as two sweet young daughters, a supportive family, and a picturesque cliff-side home – which would have been idyllic had the tall beachside cliffs not become so popular among those wishing to end their lives. Gabe has become somewhat of a local hero since they moved to the cliff house, talking seven people down from stepping off the edge. But when Gabe fails to save the eighth, a mysterious woman named Amanda, a sordid web of secrets begins to unravel, pushing bonds of loyalty and love to the brink. I have also heard from our Australian spies that one of our favourite Australian actresses Asher Keddie is also producing with Bruna Papandrea, so it might mean that she will also star in it.

Don't know about the author, but I like the story..gotta update my Kindle.
ReplyDeleteImagine her husband's predicaments. We have a man in Belgrade on the Danube who saved dozens and dozens of people who jumped from the bridge near which he has his boat anchored.
DeleteI haven't read the book but it sounds like it might be worth watching.
ReplyDeleteEspecially if they do it with Australian actors.
DeleteParece que será una buena serie. me dio curiosidad de leer el libro. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteI think it should be buena series if Australians make it without Nicole Kidman LOL
DeleteI'd watch this. What was that one that was out within the last year or two about cliff jumpers and the guy built a fence to save them? I think he was a retired rock star or something. Now I have to go google that one.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of it.
DeleteFind Me Falling with Harry Connick Jr. Was a decent watch.
ReplyDeleteI must investigate, never heard of it before, but I love Connick.
DeleteFound it among my posts, but did not know there was a fence in it. I did not watch it because I thought the female lead was a fugly thing LOL
DeleteYeah, he bought the house and notice people coming to his yard to jump. So he build a chain link fence along the property to keep them from doing so. It wasn't a bad film. A little slow, but watchable.
DeleteImagine having such a yard, Jesus.
