NEW BOOK TO TV SERIES ADAPTATIONS: RAVEN KENNEDY'S PLATED PRISONER FANTASY SAGA AND C.J. TUDOR'S THE DRIFT FROZEN APOCALYPSE!

  PLATED PRISONER SAGA
TO BECOME A TV SERIES
Two adaptations for you today, starting with Raven Kennedy's popular series PLATED PRISONER which is to be turned into a TV show! The books, five of them so far - Gild, Glint, Gleam, Glow, and Gold - are a new take on the story of King Midas and how everything he touches turns to gold. The story follows Auren who has been gold-touched by King Midas. She is kept in a gilded cage on the highest level of the castle, but she is safe. Until a deal is struck. Her trust is broken in the one person she thought would never betray her. Her love challenged, she is forced to contemplate if the King Midas she knows is an illusion, and the people outside her gilded cage will make her wish that she never had to leave it in the first place.

The book itself is out this month
 THE DRIFT NOVEL
GETS A TV SERIES VERSION
Also getting a TV series adaptation is C.J. Tudor's new novel out this month THE DRIFT which tells the story of three groups of frightened teens who find themselves thrown together in a frozen post-apocalyptic world. One group is involved in a coach crash, another wakes suspended across a ravine in a broken-down cable and the third hunks down in an isolated sky chalet, and stalking all three is an even greater danger.

  2. I need something to read, so I think I'm going to go download The Plated Prisoner series tonight. If I like the books, I'll be sure to watch the television show!

    1. Hope it is not too pathetic and tweensy, most of them are these days. I want to kill myself every five seconds with the Armentraut's saga that I'm translating now.

    2. I ended up downloading a Nicholas Sparks novel that I haven't read yet instead. I got the same vibe about tweensy reads and decided against it since it really does seem like it's the same dull shit that the YA genre has seen a lot of these last few years. Ever since Twilight, YA hasn't been the same. I used to love finding reads from that section of the library, but the same love triangle in a dystopian world is so yawn anymore.

    3. Tell me about love triangles, in the shit I am translating now she is about to eff with the vampry prince of Atlantia and his bonded werewolf, I am already puking.

    4. Dahlink, you just gotta push through since it pays the bills. I'll sit over here and puke enough for the both of us.

    5. I know, but it is just so hard sometimes, like being stuck in the head of some pathetic, illiterate constantly horny, but also ever so stupid cow.
