COLIN FIRTH TO PLAY A MURDEROR IN HBO MAX MINI SERIES THE STAIRCASE! KELVIN HARRISON JR TO LEAD 18TH CENTURY FRENCH COURT SET MOVIE CHEVALIER DE SAINT GEORGES

Colin Firth will lead new HBO Max mini series
Which will be a TV series adaptation of the same documentary movie which was a huge mainstream hit. In HBO Max series THE STAIRCASE, Colin Firth will play Michael Peterson, the man convicted of murdering his wife, Kathleen Peterson. The story follows Michael, a crime novelist accused of killing his wife Kathleen after she is found dead at the bottom of a staircase in their home, and the 16-year judicial battle that followed. Michael, a local public figure and successful novelist, quickly became the prime suspect and was convicted.

  1. The first one sounds really good! I wonder if he was wrongfully convicted? The second one sounds intriguing but we will need the trailer to see if it’s boring.

  5. I enjoyed watching Colin Firth not that long ago in Supernova, along with Stanley Tucci. He was good in it, they both were. 🙂

  6. Oooh, Colin will make a great murderer! I always thought he should have more sinister roles. I'll have to look this story up. I can't believe the trial went on for 16 years. Whatever happened to a fair and speedy trial?
