If you are in the mood for something more psychedelic, what is more psychedelic than a film with a pigeon as a shrink? Yaniv Raz' movie adaptation of Evan Roskos' book DR. BIRD'S ADVICE FOR SAD POETS will be out January 12th starring Jason Isaacs, Tom Wilkinson, David Arquette and Taylor Russell next to Lucas Jade Zumann in the lead role! In the emotionally charged, wild and humorous world of sixteen year old James Whitman, we see his struggle to overcome anxiety and depression by seeking advice from Dr. Bird - an imaginary pigeon therapist - in the wake of his sister's disappearance.

  1. I don't think I'm into anything psychedelic. Lately I haven't been into anything that makes me think too much, lol.

  2. Lol @ the imaginary pigeon psychologist! This reminds me of a meme I recently saw. It was a woman complaining to a pigeon and the bird said Jjust poop on their heads, Karen. What, Karen? I’m a bird.” It not as funny without the graphics, but I wonder if this pigeon dr gives the same advice!

    1. Pooping on other people's heads does sound like a good therapy.

    1. Human poop isn't really suitable for that business admittedly....

  4. I'm in the air on this one. The quirkiness in the beginning didn't grab my attention, but the sad parts did. I wonder if the sister died and he had a mental breakdown.

    1. There were so many films with loonies this year... I've just watched Adventures of a Wolfboy last weekend, and it is similar, but very cute.
