ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SPECTACULAR WONDER WOMAN 1984 SEQUEL WHICH IS STILL SCHEDULED FOR MID AUGUST RELEASE DATE!

    'WONDER WOMAN 1984'
STILL PLANS TO FLY THIS AUGUST
Wonder Woman is scheduled for August 13th
Well, it could be the very first major movie which will open the new cinematic season August 13th after the corona chaos ends (in which case it might even flop as many people will probably be staying away from crowded places for a very long time if they have any brains) or it might get postponed again (for the fifth time) and left for some happier times when all our troubles finally end. Having in mind the current success of Trolls animated sequel with its streaming launch the producers might consider again releasing this one directly on a streaming platform as well. Currently, WONDER WOMAN 1984 is still set for the mid August release date as a sequel to DC's 2017 smash hit Wonder Woman which

That one was set part on her island of Themyscira and part in the muddy European trenches of World War I, but this one will go fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her in the pop music decade facing two all-new foes: Max Lord (played by Pedro Pascal) and The Cheetah (with the very controversial and arguable choice of Kristen Wiig in the role. Emma Stone was originally offered the role which she refused for reasons unknown). Chris

Patty Jenkins directs the film again from a screenplay she wrote with Geoff Johns & David Callaham, while Zack Snyder is producing again. Behind the scenes, there will be again two Oscar winners: Oscar winning costume designer Lindy Hemming and Oscar winning composer Hans Zimmer who is again doing the music even though he announced he will retire from composing scores for

  1. Yeah, I didn't watch any Wonder Woman and I'm good! :)

    1. The first one wasn't actually bad, at least the first half of it, the second half when they go to war was rather monotonous and overly filled with special effects for my taste.

  2. I was so looking forward to Wonder Woman, but man the first one was just not as good as I thought it would be. Jason fell asleep and I had to push through it to the end. With that said, I'd still give this one a try but I won't go into it with high hopes.

    1. My problem is that I fall asleep at any superhero flick :) In WW I loved the first epic part at Temyschira, the rest was just a messy explosion of destruction.

    2. Don't think the second one will be much different, but Gal is cute, so I might check it out if I'm especially bored.

    3. I do like Gal and will watch this one, but if it bores me to tears like the first one did, I'll completely veto any more WW films they may do in the future.

    4. Unless they cast a hot male hunk in the third part as her sidekick. I'm surprised, though, that the female director did not make her lesbian.

    1. It might be the clarion of new cinematic era or a clarion of its doom.

  4. I really like Gal Gadot so we will be watching this for sure. Online streaming release is actually a great idea. You are right, it will take a long time for people to be comfortable in crowded places after this craziness. We haven't watched a movie in a theater in years since we moved to the Philippines. When we finally did, it was last year in a special cinema with lounge chairs to watch Frozen 2.

    1. She certainly has the charming warmth for the role. I don't like any other superhero actresses except her, I think they always miscast them terribly.

I think many theatre chains will close forever as they won't be able to keep up their finances. The future will be streamers and VOD services. I don't specially care for Hollywood as it ruined itself years ago with superhero flicks, remakes and stupid Star Wars films, but I do hope other countries will be able to save their movie businesses.

  5. I honestly think that movie theaters will become extinct soon due to streaming services. The $20 fee for one person to see one movie is a two month subscription of something else. That aside, I do ever so much love Wonder Woman and am sooooo excited for this one.

    1. Yes, especially as people are buying bigger and bigger TV sets, so even the big screen does not mean much to them now. I'm not a fan of people :) so I've always hated cinemas with irritating strangers talking or making noises and seats being uncomfy.
