'THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH'
NEW DRAMA PILOT FROM CBS
One of the upcoming series pilots that really sticks out with its very original concept is definitely CBS drama pilot THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH in which the story centres on a small New Hampshire town that is thrust onto the world stage when the discovery of a valuable resource within its borders
Sarah Drew will lead The Republic of Sarah
compels the residents to declare themselves an independent nation, thus setting the unlikely young mayor, Sarah Cooper (to be played by Sarah Drew) and her Cabinet of inexperienced locals on the path of running a brand-new country.

WHO'S IN THE CAST
Beside Drew in the lead role, the cast will also include Kimberly Guerrero as the mother figure in her life,  Carlos Leal (as Sarah artist boyfriend), Jonathan Slavin (as Eugene, a brilliant, bizarre librarian whose hummingbird energy and encyclopaedic knowledge of

    1. Some minerals, I'd say it's krypton, but krypton can only be found here in Serbia, actually, and I'm not even kidding....

  2. I want to start my own republic. It seems our country is breeding more and more idiots every day, us sane people need a safe space away from them all!

  3. CBS drama's not an original concept. We've got 'Ahzivland' - the republic of Eli Avivi. It's a piece of land between the city of Naharya and the Lebanese border. It was established in 1971 by a sailor, Eli Avivi (he died last year). It had a flag, anthem, passports. At first the authorities put him in jail, then, they turned the whole thing (a micronation, it's called) into a touristic attraction.

    1. I think that there are quite a few towns and villages like that around the world. For example, a rich man has proclaimed his estate here in my city Republic of old Yugoslavia and people really gather there with nostalgia towards our old country.
