'DEATH ON THE NILE'
TO COME AFTER ORIENT EXPRESS
While Murder on the Orient Express is currently tripling its budget at the worldwide box office (it already earned more than $150 million in just
ten days and it cost only $50 million), the same team is planning on doing Agatha Christie's DEATH ON THE NILE next and Kenneth Branagh is expected to return both as the director and as Hercule Poirot at least as Hollywood Reporter writes today. He will be travelling again, not on a train, but this time on a river cruise. Scriptwriter Michael Green is also returning.
It's one of Agatha's best selling mysteries |
Published in 1937, three years after Orient Express as one of Christie's most popular novels, it also features
rich socialites and their help in the story which sees the detective on
a vacation in Egypt where he becoms involved in a love triangle gone
murderously bad!

JIM CAVIEZEL TEASER IS HERE!

Sounds like Kenneth Branagh is developing a fetish about wearing Hercule Poirot's moustache! He can't get enough of it!
ReplyDeleteyou think the hot, humid weather will have impact on his moustache? Will they curl more?
DeleteI saw someone griping about Murder on the Orient Express and how it never should have been remade, but it sounds like it's something the people want, so that person can shove it. Hopefully Death on the Nile will be as successful.
ReplyDeleteI know you will watch Express because of your lovah Depp. They did cancel Ordeal by Innocence over at BBC due to rape accusations against Ed Westwick so Express might be the only we get of Agatha this year.
DeleteWhat Debra said hahaaaaa zNow, all we need are man boibs ans it's picture perfect.
ReplyDeletehave you ever had moustache on you?
DeleteYes, but I sent her back to her mother.
DeleteI don't know why I even asked...
