KATE WINSLET TO STAR
She was added to this project a few years ago but it seems it is now finally moving with the production, as soon as they find a director: Kate Winslet will star in World War II biopic on war photojournalist Lee Miller.
As 'Deadline' reports the film will tell the story of the brave
photojournalist who made sure the suffering victims inside the Nazi
concentration camps of Dachau and Buchenwald were shown to the world,
prompting an outcry across the globe. As a journalist, she covered the
London Blitz and the liberation of Paris, had a torrid love affair with
photographer Man Ray before venturing out on her own to establish herself as a
photographer and correspondent to be reckoned with. She covered the
first use of napalm and its effects on children and battles throughout
Europe. The movie will be based on her biography The Lives of Lee
Miller, written by her son, Antony Penrose! Kate Winslet got an Oscar
for her role in Reader, another movie about Nazi regime.
Sounds great!
ReplyDeleteshe used to pose naked for Man Ray, just like Kate posed nekkid for that kid in Reader :)
DeleteKate is everywhere these days, which makes me so happy. I lurv her so much!
ReplyDeleteas long as she doesn't talk about politics, I'm fine with her :) I have a feeling she will be a very nasty granny one day, dirty mouthed like Helen Mirren, while Cate Blanchett will be more refined like Judi Dench.
DeleteMaybe she'll take over Profanity Granny's shows on Facebook?
Deletemost definitely!
DeleteDoesn't look like Kate Winslet in your pic?

DeleteSounds like this will be a good movie. I haven't seen Kate in anything recently. Very interesting sounding movie (I like that it is based on a real journalist's life). Thanks for sharing.
