Some comedy today to lighten up your scorching hot summer Sunday: two of the multi camera sitcoms we are looking forward to this season! NBC's new comedy series MARLON is ready to start as soon as Wednesday, August 16th with a double opening of two half hour episodes! This delightful family comedy is sort of a story of Marlon Wayans' own life and the cast also includes Essence Atkins as his ex wife, Bresha Webb as her best friend, Diallo Riddle, Notlim Taylor and Amir O’Neil!

'9JKL' CBS SITCOM

    These both sound interesting. I'm thrilled we have Linda Lavin and Elliot Gould still. Seems so many great celebs have passed away the last few years. Thanks for commenting on my humble little blog so that I found you. Slick website!

      thanks for dropping by, glad to have you over! Yes, I don't know what will happen when the last of great comedians leave us :( Especially since the middle aged ones (Tim Allen, Fran Drescher) have been kicked out of the telly :(

      I have a feeling Marlon will be axed after five episodes, sadly, and 9JKL might survive a whole season given the time slot and the fact it is on CBS

      Marlon just didn't grab my attention like a comedy should with that little preview, but maybe it will find an audience.

      I've seen the plots for first five eps and I think it will be funny. In the second episode she finds a stash of his things that he still keeps in her house and that sounds like a funny story :) We shall see. I really loved Uncle Buck last season on ABC it was really funny and beautiful on the eye, but they cancelled it and I'm ready to go diverse with this one now :)
