Blake Lively will portray a woman who is on a path of self
destruction after her family dies in a plane crash, a flight that she
was supposed to be on. After being told by a journalist that the crash
was an act of terror covered up by intelligence agencies, and then
watching that journalist get killed, the woman’s anger awakens a new
sense of purpose and she rises to uncover the truth by adapting the
identity of an assassin to track down those responsible. The new and
lethal Stephanie Patrick is on a mission to fill the void between what
she knows and what she is told.

Here's another sf saga ready to move onto the small screens: as 'Deadline' reports TNT will turn sf novel THE FIFTH SEASON from Hugo award winning N.K. Jemisin into TV series! This epic story
is set in a world where civilization destroying earthquakes occur with deadly regularity. A small minority of inhabitants has the ability to quiet these earthquakes, but they also can cause them. The series follows three women, each of whom possesses these special, Earth controlling abilities: Damaya, a young girl training to serve the Empire; Syenite, an ambitious young woman ordered to breed with her bitter and frighteningly powerful mentor; and Essun, a mother searching for the husband who murdered her young son and kidnapped her daughter mere hours after a Season tore a fiery rift across the land.

I don't like her becoming an action star,but I'm guessing she's under the influence of Ryan
DeleteI agree. Ryan does a lot of action and maybe she just wanted to try her hand at it too. I hope it's not a permanent switch for her though.
DeleteI think it might be, sadly, most of her recent movies are action flicks. She's not overly talented so she can't really do deep drama, but she is always lovely in fantasy dramas and romantic films.

ReplyDeleteI had to match her dress with the emerald green theme of the photos today :) I don't know if you've noticed but photos within posts always have a connection, either in tone, colour, posture or something, I have a OCD of that kind :)
