After announcing that Nikolaj Coster Waldau and James Norton will lead their eight part historical series KING AND CONQUEROR
playing 11th century figures William, Duke of Normandy, and Harold,
Earl of 
Wessex,respectively, with Emily Beecham as Harold’s wife Edith and Clemence Poésy as William’s wife Matilda, BBC has unveiled the first 
trailer today as well for the series that will arrive according to BBC later this August which is a strange time for an expensive historical drama. In USA it will stream on Prime Video, and on HBO Max in many smaller international markets.

who idolizes Harold and wants to always do what is right for his
family, but he’s yet to find his place in the world. Elander Moore will star as cruel and 
devious aristocrat Morcar, Indy Lewis as the sheltered Margaret, Jason Forbes as the loyal Thane Thomas, Ines Asserson as the eligible Judith and Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson as fearsome warrior Hardrada. Leo Legrand will play William’s half-brother, Odo, a cowardly opportunist.
