The main piece of television news today is coming to us from CW and their popular historical saga REIGN. When it returns from its winter sleep, to which it just went, sometime this spring it will have an addition of John Barrowman in the cast! With King Francis dead and Catherine de Medici regaining regency, Mary Queen of Scots will have to return to Scotland where she will come face to face with the person responsible for Francis’ death. John Barrowman will guest star in REIGN’s penultimate episode this season as Munro, a dangerous and charismatic Scottish clan leader who harbours a sinister grudge against the Queen of Scots. Returning to Scotland Mary will find herself in the presence of the man who cost her the love of her life.

One of our most favourite actresses Amy Adams will lead new sf movie STORY OF YOUR LIFE about alien space crafts that have landed all over the world. Amy Adams will be an expert linguist who has been recruited by the U.S. government to try and communicate with the aliens, to see if they come in peace or if they are a threat to mankind. As she begins to find out why the aliens are here, she experiences intense flashbacks that offer clues to what these creatures truly want. Jeremy Renner will play a physics professor who will help her communicate with the aliens.

'49TH KEY' EPIC FANTASY SERIES
In television news, 'The Hollywood Reporter' writes that British star John Barrowman from TORCHWOOD and ARROW will produce new mini TV series THE 49TH KEY based on Erika Lewis sf story from the latest issue of HEAVY METAL magazine. Barrowman will also star in the story based on the 16th century legend of Enochian magic, which tells of a secret language of angels. The story follows a rogue archaeologist and a young autistic and mute boy on a treacherous journey through England to bring the boy home. The boy turns out to be the key to a gateway between our world and that of Enochia, a magical society that exists below the Earth's surface, filled with fantasy creatures and highly advanced humans.

OCTAVIA SPENCER IS GOD

IN 'THE SHACK'  ADAPTATION!

Now I fully support this casting choice: 'Variety' reports that Octavia Spencer is negotiating to take the role of God in the movie adaptation of William Paul Young's planetary bestseller THE SHACK! The story follows a man named Mackenzie Allen Phillips, whose youngest daughter Missy is abducted during a family vacation. The police find evidence in a nearby shack that suggest the young girl was murdered. Four years later, Mackenzie receives a note, supposedly written by God (Octavia Spencer), asking him to come back to THE SHACK. Against his better judgement, he does return to the shack, where he finds something that will change his life forever.
