The main piece of television news today is coming to us from CW and their popular historical saga REIGN. When it returns from its winter sleep, to which it just went, sometime this spring it will have an addition of John Barrowman in the cast! With King Francis dead and Catherine de Medici regaining regency, Mary Queen of Scots will have to return to Scotland where she will come face to face with the person responsible for Francis’ death. John Barrowman will guest star in REIGN’s penultimate episode this season as Munro, a dangerous and charismatic Scottish clan leader who harbours a sinister grudge against the Queen of Scots. Returning to Scotland Mary will find herself in the presence of the man who cost her the love of her life.

We're family friendly today with two new trailers, beginning with DreamWorks' TROLLS animated movie video! Anna Kendrick lends voice to Poppy, the optimistic leader of the Trolls, and Justin Timber lake to her polar opposite is Branch! Together, Poppy and Branch must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they've ever known. TROLLS also has Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Russell Brand, Ron Funches in the voice cast. This crazy comedy extravaganza with incredible music comes to theatres November 4, 2016!

Equally delightful is the first trailer for crazy family comedy movie coming out this August NINE LIVES from EuropaCorp starring Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner, Malina Weissman, Cheryl Hines, Christopher Walken and Robbie Amell! It is the story of a stuffy daredevil billionaire who finds himself trapped inside the body of his family's cat. If any hope exists of returning to his family as the husband and father they deserve, Tom will have to learn why he has been placed in this peculiar situation and the great lengths he must go to earn back his human existence.

'TROLLS' CAST REVEALED

We're all kids friendly today, people, bringing you news from some of new family projects, beginning with the cast photos announcing the stars who will lend their voices to DreamWorks TROLLS animated movie based on the famous collection of world's ugliest dolls. Justin Timberlake has been announced last year in the lead role and will also write songs for the movie joined by Anna Kendrick! She will voice Poppy, the optimistic leader of the TROLLS, while he is her polar opposite, Branch. Together, this unlikely pair of Trolls must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they've ever known. Branch is a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colours! Gwen Stefani will lend her voice to DJ Suki, James Corden to Biggie, Russell Brand to Creek, Icona Pop to The Fashionistas, Ron Funches to Cooper and Kunal Nayyar to Guy Diamond. The movie is scheduled for premiere this November directed by 'Shrek Forever After' duo Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn!

'FULLER HOUSE' SITCOM

THE FIRST PHOTOS REVEALED
Earlier this winter I've shown you the first teaser for Netflix's revival of FULL HOUSE sitcom now titled FULLER HOUSE and now we have the first photos from it hoping a trailer might come soon too? Starting February 26th, it will see  Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber returning to their original roles with guest appearances from John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin and Scott Weinger! FULLER HOUSE will now focus on grown up D.J. Tanner Fuller (Bure) now a recently widowed veterinarian living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas), all move in to help take care of D.J.’s three boys!

You can also check out a gorgeous new triptych poster for Disney's new adventure THE JUNGLE BOOK the highly anticipated movie which will roar into cinemas this April! All three posters connect into a massive one below! With little Neel Sethi as Mowgli, the only human character in the CGI movie, the jungle will also see Baloo (Bill Murray), Bagheera (Ben Kingsley), Shere Khan (Idris Elba), Kaa (Scarlett Johansson), and King Louie (Christopher Walken).

THE JUNGLE ADVENTURE
It will follow Mowgli a man-cub who's been raised by a family of wolves and who finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan, who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he's ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned stern mentor Bagheera, and the free spirited bear Baloo. Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don't exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa, a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth talking King Louie, who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire.

Kids friendly movie news today, starting with the news on those ugly TROLLS dolls with whom some of you maybe played as kids? Dreamworks is turning it into a movie with Justin Timberlake revealed today as the lead star of the musical comedy coming from SHREK'S team of producers and directors. Justin Timberlake will lend voice to Branch, a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colours. For the first time, the movie tells the story behind the beloved TROLLS and their gravity defying and colourful manes! Singer actress Anna Kendrick will lend her voice to Princess Poppy. She and Branch venture far beyond the only world they have ever known, with their quest testing their strength and revealing their true colours – with no shortage of musical mash-ups along the way! 

'THE JUNGLE BOOK' TRAILER 

FOR DISNEY'S NEW ADVENTURE

As announced last weekend, Disney (who has also announced their remake of MARY POPPINS today) has released today the first trailer for their new big screen version of THE JUNGLE BOOK which will roar into theatres next April! Directed by John Favreau it will have CGI animals and one live actor, with the story which follows an orphan boy who is raised in the Jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear and a black panther. Little Neel Sethi plays Mowgli, Ben Kingsley voices black panther Bagheera, Lupita Nyong'o is mother wolf Raksha, Scarlett Johansson is snake Kaa, Bill Mooray is bear Baloo, Idris Elba is Shere Khan, Christopher Walken is King Louie!

It is interesting that a year later, in April 2017, rival THE JUNGLE BOOK: ORIGINS will hit cinemas too, but in live action version with Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale, Benedict Cucumberpatch and Tom Hollander.
