After a success with the first season, AMC is counting on it to become their lead series now their Walking Dead is over, so it is no surprise that INTERVIEW
WITH THE VAMPIRE is getting a second run with Ben Daniels as the first new cast member to be announced. The contemporary adaptation of Anne Rice’s popular gothic novel follows Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Claudia’s (Bailey Bass) story of love and immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). In the new season that will be set in Prague, Daniels will portray Santiago, the leading vamp thespian of the Theatre des Vampires who grows increasingly suspicious of the American vampires Louis and Claudia.

A sugar treat to sweeten up your day today is the trailer for new family adventure CHUPA which arrives to Netflix April 7th showing us that famous Chupacabra maybe
isn't as scary as legends would make us believe. Shy 13-year-old Alex (Evan Whitten) flies from Kansas City to Mexico to meet his extended family for the first time. There he meets his grandfather and former lucha libre champion Chava (Demián Bichir), energetic, wrestling-obsessed cousin Memo (Nickolas Verdugo), and fearless, hip cousin Luna (Ashley Ciarra). But just as Alex begins to get his bearings, he discovers a mythical creature living under his grandfather's shed: a young chupacabra cub, which he recognizes from stories of the feared, full-grown chupacabra, fabled to feed on farmers' livestock. Alex soon learns that his new friend Chupa has a secret history with his family, and
that dogged, dangerous scientist Richard Quinn (Christian Slater) is hunting the misunderstood creature to try and harness his powers. To protect Chupa from impending danger, Alex sets off on the adventure of a lifetime.

Not something I would watch, but I guess kids would enjoy it.

DeleteChupa looks cute. We had a friend meet Christian Slater a few years back. His son was attending the same military collage that our friend's son was at. On orientation day, he extends his had to my friend and says, "Hi, I'm Chris." It took a bit for my friend to realize it was THE Christian Slater because he was dressed down and so normal looking. They said he's a pretty solid, nice guy.
