stream THE GHOST BRIDE, 19th century set fantasy series coming from Malaysia which,  based on the novel The Ghost Bride written by Malaysian writer Yangsze Choo, stars Huang Pei-jia, Wu Kang-jen, Ludi Lin, and Kuang Tian.

The Ghost Bride
set in 1890's Colonial Malacca, folllows a Malaysian Chinese woman who accepts a marriage proposal from a wealthy family to be the "ghost bride" to their deceased son - an opportunity that would save her family from a lifetime
The first season has six hourlong episodes
of debt, but require her to spend the rest of her days haunted by a ghostly spouse. Desperate to escape the situation, she soon finds herself wrapped up in a murder mystery and embroiled in otherworldly affairs far bigger than she could have imagine!

  3. Looks a bit odd, but it's something that Allison would probably enjoy. I thought it was going to be like a book I read not too long ago about a woman that was raped by a ghost in the New Orleans house she was living in, but this trailer ended up taking a different, more weird turn (if you can get any weirder than being raped by a ghost)

    1. Well, you can get married to an imaginary pirate like that woman from Facebook and then divorce him because he was 'beating' you. Every day Facebook brings us new loonies :)

  4. Are ghost brides a real thing? You've peaked my interest with this one. I'm going to have to start a Google search. It sounds like an ideal situation to me!! Marrying a man that financially supports you but you don't have to clean up after? lol
