'RESISTANCE' TRAILER
HE SAVED THEIR LIVES IN SILENCE
|
The movie will hit internet streaming in USA from March 27th! |
Another day, another film with bad accents :) First trailer has been released for
Jesse Eisenberg's WW2 movie
RESISTANCE which is out in cinemas March 27th also starring
Ed Harris, Clemence Poesy and
Edgar
Ramirez. Directed by
Jonathan Jakubovitz, the film
brings the story of a group of Jewish Boy Scouts who worked with the French Resistance to save the lives of ten thousand orphans during World War II. At the centre of the
movie we find an aspiring Jewish actor whose desperate need to help the children leads him into the world of pantomime, and who will later and, thanks to this experience, become the legendary French mime Marcel Marceau.
For some reason, the video won't play sound again so I can't hear the bad accents. That aside, the story line itself sounds very interesting! I wonder how the Jewish Boy Scouts hid from persecution to help save the orphans.
ReplyDeleteJesse has the most terrible French accent.
DeleteI like this actor :)
ReplyDeleteHe's cute.
DeleteI wonder why they don’t just cast native speakers for those roles. I hate bad accents, though I will overlook them if the story line is good.
ReplyDeleteYes, especially when it comes to real persons, but I guess they should be lucky that they did not cast a black actor in the role as it is so modern these days.
DeleteTo be honest I love bad accents, they are always fun to watch
ReplyDeleteThen you might enjoy the movie!
DeleteThe Green Knight looks chilling, but I like the look of Resistance.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it!
DeleteI'm not a big fan of Jesse Eisenberg as an actor and yes, what a TERRIBLE accent, but the film itself looks quite good. I didn't know the back story of Marcel Marceau -- interesting!
ReplyDeleteI did not know either.
