OLIVER HUDSON AND MALIN AKERMAN TO LEAD THREE OF US
Tons of updates on the TV comedy pilot season today which is currently under way! NBC has cast Oliver Hudson and Malin Akerman in THE THREE OF US comedy pilot in which they will play adult siblings who are children of divorce and must circle the wagons when their sister’s husband

unexpectedly announces he wants to call it quits on their marriage. Oliver Hudson will play the worrier in the family who always has been protective of his little brother and sister (Malin Akerman), who is the smart and resilient middle sibling.

JEFFERIES FINDS FEMALE LEAD
NBC has also found new stars for their JEFFERIES multicamera sitcom. Betsy Brandt has been cast as the female lead opposite veteran comedian Jim Jefferies in a fictionalized story of himself – a comedian with a unique
Betsy Brandt will be raising a kid with her best friend
and often controversial take on modern life, relationships and co-parenting with his best friend (Brandt). Darien Sills-Evans and Mike Lane will also star!

JACK CUTMORE SCOTT TO LEAD JURY DUTY SITCOM AT CBS
CBS has meanwhile cast Jack Cutmore Scott for their hybrid sitcom JURY DUTY in which a group of jurors are sequestered together until they all agree on a verdict….and they can’t even agree on lunch. Jack Cutmore
Jack Cutmore Scott will be doing some Jury Duty
Scott will play John ‘Hutty’ Huttman, a charismatic natural leader and winner in every way, who isn’t happy about being made an alternate juror, so he’s going to make it fun for himself.

  1. The Three of Us will have a pretty cast. Hope it is good.

    Jury Duty sounds like it will be frustrating. I can't imagine being on jury duty (have always gotten out of it here) let alone watching jurors bicker for an entire season.

    1. I thought jury duty was a one off thing, do they take them for a whole year? I thought it is just one case and then you are free.

  3. All three sound OK, but nothing that makes me EEP with excitement. I wonder what they will do with Jury Duty after they order lunch and decide on a verdict?
