Roseanne returns this month to ABC
Meanwhile, you can check out a trailer for ABC's comeback series ROSE- ANNE which returns March 27th with nine episodes and double opening! With the inimitable Roseanne at its epicentre, fresh stories
The entire old cast is returning to the popular sitcom
that tackle today’s issues and even more laughs from a cast and crew that haven’t missed a beat, audiences old and new will celebrate the homecoming of America’s favourite working-class family.
classic multicam sitcoms are getting back because the cynical single camera ones just did not appeal on a deeper level with the audience, methinks. Hope at least some of the pilots will be turned into series
I really am wondering how awful Roseanne will be...it was kind of dreadful when it was on...plus they have to explain Dan being dead. I don’t think I like these come backs...I don’t like Will and Grace now but I loved the original one.
You can see how they solved Dan not being dead in the trailer :) I agree with you that Roseanne was bad and will probably be too now. Agreed on Will and Grace as well. It is not bad, but the whole new season had maybe three really good episodes, the rest were very average and did not justify the return. The mistake is returning them to the old status quo in which they are still moving nowhere, instead of accepting the final episode that show them as parents with kids and continuing from there. It would have been funnier to see them as parents with their own families.
Roseanne could be hit or miss. I like that they are going to do some political punchlines, especially since they took Last Man Standing off the air. I feel like it's a big F-You to the networks.
it was supposed to be coupled with Last Man Standing in the same comedy hour, but I guess it was too much for ABC to have two conservative outspoken stars ruling their ratings.

I never watched Roseanne, I don't know why, it just never resonated with me...

Almost Stylish
I tried, but I remember I did not find it funny as a kid and the acting was always terrible
DeleteI used to watch Roseanne and enjoy the comedy, but I'm changed now (older). Not sure I'll have the patience for that kind of sitcom.
