TRAILERS FOR 'PROFESSOR MARSTON AND THE WONDER WOMEN' WITH LUKE EVANS, 'ALPHA' EPIC ICE AGE SET ADVENTURE WITH KODI SMIT MCPHEE, GUILLERMO DEL TORO'S 'THE SHAPE OF WATER'

 'ALPHA' EPIC TRAILER
ICE AGE EPIC ADVENTURE
The movie was shot in Canada
Two trailers for you today, beginning with one set 20,000 years into past. ALPHA, a survival adventure set in the period of last Ice Age, with March 2018 release, stars Kodi Smit McPhee as a young man thought dead by his clan after he falls into a crevice during a bison hunt who embarks on a desperate journey to find his way home during which he finds a unlikely ally in a fierce but injured and abandoned wolf. The trailer says that is how humans got their first dogs! Natassia Malthe and Leonor Varela also star in the Albert Hughes directed movie previously known as Solutrean.

 PROFESSOR MARSTON AND
THE WONDER WOMEN TRAILER!
While Wonder Woman is about to become this summer's biggest blockbuster, there's a trailer for another movie about her, or more
Angela Robinson directed the movie
about the man who invented her! PROFESSOR MARSTON AND THE WONDER WOMEN should hit cinemas October starring Luke Evans as Harvard psychologist who based the character of the Amazonian princess on his own unconventional relationship!
Marston was in a polyamorous relationship with his wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall), a psychologist and inventor in her own right, and Olive Byrne (Bella Heathcote), a former student who became an academic. This relationship was key to the creation of Wonder Woman, as Elizabeth and
Professor Marston helped invent the modern lie detector test
Olive's feminist ideals were ingrained in the character from her creation. Marston died of skin cancer in 1947, but Elizabeth and Olive remained a couple and raised their and Marston's children together.

'THE SHAPE OF WATER'
LOVE HIDES IN SECRET LABS?
There is also a rather bizarre trailer for Guillermo del Toro's movie THE SHAPE OF WATER out this December! An other worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa's life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.

  1. "Professor Marston and the Wonder Women" looks great! Yes, there was a lot of bondage depicted in early WW cartoons! Oh, that lasso of truth!

    2. All of it! And I usually like weird things, but that one doesn't look like one I'd enjoy.

I'm off to catch my flight in a few short hours, so wanted to stop by and say toodles. I'll only be online in short bursts, but will try to get my visits in here when I can. Didn't want you to think I disappeared without a word ♥

    4. Sitting in the hotel lobby for HOURS waiting for our room to be ready. Dahlink, I am so friggin exhausted I could almost strangle them here. Paid for early check in (our flight got in at 6 am) yet they are saying it could be until 4pm before we get a room. Tis not a good start to the vacay. But on the bright side, I feel like it can only go up from here :)

    5. Da eff, why isn't the room already ready? Or are they kicking someone out to cater for you? :) You should go out and explore the city while you're waiting. Wait? Where are you exactly?

    1. it is very unusual and also quite opposed to Wonder Woman's feminist fans' attitudes

  4. Alpha looks good. Would be interesting to see that when it comes out. However, I think I'm still digesting the current wonder woman to fully appreciate any more from her at the moment...
