TIM BURTON'S 'BIG EYES' TRAILER WITH AMY ADAMS, CHRISTOPH WALTZ. ASTRID BERGES FRISBEY IS CHARLIE HUNNAM'S GUIENEVERE IN 'KING ARTHUR: KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE'! 1ST 'PARTNERS IN CRIME' BBC SERIES PIC WITH DAVID WALLIAMS

ASTRID BERGES FRISBEY
IS GUINEVERE IN 'KING ARTHUR KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE'
According to 'Deadline' Guy Ritchie has cast Astrid Berges Frisbey from the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN (she was the mermaid) to portray medieval queen Guinevere in KING ARTHUR: KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE. She will join Charlie Hunnam, who plays the king, and Idris Elba, as his mentor who teaches him how to become a warrior. She will play the unfaithful and ungrateful queen after she won the role competing against Alicia Vikander, Felicity Jones and Elizabeth Olsen. Warner Bros. is planning this as possible six movies franchise, but I'm not sure it will happen with such a bland cast.

'PARTNERS IN CRIME'
DAVID WALLIAMS IN AGATHA CHRISTIE SERIES AT BBC ONE
Meanwhile, BBC has released the first image of David Walliams and Jessica Raine in their upcoming six part Agatha Christie series PARTNERS IN CRIME. To air in 2015 marking the 125th anniversary of Agatha's birth, the series will see them play a married couple of detectives solving cases in the 1950s!

'BIG EYES' TRAILER
AMY ADAMS AND CHRISTOPH WALTZ IN A TIM BURTON FILM
The first trailer has been released today for Tim Burton's new drama BIG EYES which is out this Christmas as a true story of Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz), one of the most successful painters of the 1950s. He earned staggering notoriety by revolutionizing the commercialization and accessibility of popular art with his enigmatic paintings of waifs with big eyes. The truth would eventually be discovered though: Keane's art was actually not created by him at all, but by his wife, Margaret (Amy Adams). The Keanes, it seemed, had been living a lie that had grown to gigantic proportions. BIG EYES centres on Margaret's awakening as an artist, the phenomenal success of her paintings, and her tumultuous relationship with her husband, who was catapulted to international fame while taking credit for her work.

    1. I rarely watch trailers, and I never read reviews. Or the dust jackets of books for that matter.

      Cheers and boogie boogie.

  3. BIG EYES looks fascinating, surprised that Depp isn't in it with Burton doing it. Partners in Crime will be a good one to watch.

  7. I remember everyone going gaga over Astrid Berges Frisbey as the mermaid in Pirates. She is a really pretty girl!

A new Amy Adams flick? I do so love her. We finally caught American Hustle tonight. She did splendid in it, as usual.

    1. I just wish they wouldn't cast those lifeless model like types for big movies and big roles...

We do love Amy Adams. Sometimes I can't believe she's American, since her type of talent usually comes from UK or OZ....
